To me the part where she helps her sister in law. In the dress shop Made the owner look Cheap and busted up The dress shop. Best ever. Love it great show .
My favorite scene is in season 5 when John realizes Emmett died on the trail and also when John tells Emmett’s wife. Amazing scene and gets me right in the feels every time I watch it.
The scene that really hurt my heart was when John’s father is dying & John takes him out on his last ride, his last drink of whiskey & they talk. And then when that song “Daddy doesn’t pray anymore” really did it for me. 😢
10:15 The best beth Dutton seen that comes to my mind, is when she's at a bar and a guy tries to buy a drink and start a conversation. The next thing is she's ripping him up one side the bar and down the other and spitting him out. He left the bar with his tail between his legs
I wish Taylor would have written in what happened to the young boy, that was with his mom on the side of the road, when John was shot. That was strange how we were left hanging on that one.
Gotta love Kelly Reilly as Beth. Stunning portrayal without letup scene after scene. In the midst of the chaos, some that she causes, she coldly steps up and makes it worse. The dangerously intelligent, unkillable, unflappable, unrelenting, ruthless Beth, who is totally vulnerable with her father and Rip. I have seen Kelly off-screen - a quiet, almost demure British girl - beautiful, and a stirling actress. Cheers.
My favorite scene is any scene with Beth Dutton but it i have to pick one i love when she drives her car over that coorporate guy's flower bed after he said, " oh mind the flowers when you pull out please?" 😂😂 Beth ripped in reverse and drove over that shit with cold blood! Lmfaooo love her❤
Love this show. Kostner or not, keep it coming. Reminds me of my dad. Not the killing part, but the cowboy part. The fashion, the work. It gave me great memories.
Absolutely, I agreed with Beth. "Why didn't you blow his head off?" Garrett was being a career criminal psychopathic manipulator. HIs only goal was revenge against John Dutton. That's the theme on everything in the series. The star is the ranch and its figurehead. Whether its Kevin Costner, Harrison Ford or even to a lesser extent Tim McGraw, its all about the ranch. The ranch drives the story. The villains are looking to take or destroy it, Everything else is classic Taylor Sheridan misdirection.
The scene where Mo Brings Plenty dresses the horse Rip rides to rescue Tate from the militia at the end of season 2. AND when Beth and Rip get married.
The VERY FIRST scene of Yellowstone, with the accident, (semi truck and John’s truck) and John having to put his horse down, was the hook, line and sinker that got me hooked. Couldn’t hardly wait for next week’s episode!
The scene in Beth's office was brutal. Oddly, it was what made me finally fully sympathize with Beth as a character, all her hard edged badassery was crucial to her surviving long enough for Rip to get to her and save her. She was magnificent and indomitable. Sure, that guy was going to kill her but she was going to go down cursing his name and spitting. I also really love the boutique scene where Beth actually uses her powers for good, to defend her sister in law, it was so sweet.
I came across a "movie" where a woman was taking up for a native American who is being bullied, started watching, loved it, found out later it was a TV show. Started watching, beth taking up for her sis n law and humiliating the bully, still my favorite scene!
John and Rip saving the people in the diner but losing Donnie at the same time should be on that list. Bikers too. But I agree, the Monica/John graveside scene is definitely top 5. I'd probably take out the Dabney Coleman scene, as touching as it was, and the bull in the bar. Both good scenes, but the two I mentioned were more iconic.
My favorite seen is when Beth has to be there for her mom when falls off her horse at her moms end and how strong Beth is from her mom being so tuff on her
Jamie's mother is spencers granddaughter. Or daughter. Either way Jamie not John birthright is Yellowstone sorry people. Even John said " we all tried to talk her out of marrying Garrett Randal" case closed
The 'train station' is supposedly in Idaho (and i live and OTR truck out of there), but the parking area where they film it is about two hills EAST of Belgrade Mt.
I think Jamie's birth father was just using him. Only looking for a golden ticket after killing his mother. Btw, iS Jamie's birth mother John's sister maybe. Please tell me what you think.
Also my favorite scene of Yellowstone is when the bikers come back to the field at night after getting booted off it by Rip and the cowboys earlier in the day. Season 3 Episode 4 John explains to them in no uncertain terms that this is end for them and watching them turn from men into little boys was very satisfying for me personally. Seeing it first hand living in Montana and every Summer the bikers ride through from the West coast acting like the own the whole state.
What about the Beckman brother that died on the toilet? Taking his punishment sitting down, where he really couldn’t get up! He even commented on not wanting to die there. 😮
Yes that scene where he shot his father is not good. I don't understand it when because the man is being blackmailed and he needs someone to confide in who would help him. His father said that he was on his side but he shot him anyway. Don't understand that one. I miseed a lot of this series and so when you mantioned that the bodies at the station have been accumulating for 100 years, it surprised me. I know it's TV but someone in the family should have thought to make a fire and burn the evidence. In the real world the decay and the stench has to attract scavengers and the amount of those in oned place would attract other people.
Ok. 3 of these i totally agree belong among the best...with a tie for a forth that explainsone of the top...based on the fact i have not seen anything from season 5...don't know why but i can't seem to finð a way to watch season 5....anyway. the rest. I'm conflicted. Too many great scenes.?.what i like most changes depending on my mood. But. The episode when they try to take out the Duntons. Yeah. That's got to be am9ng the best on TV ...in my opinion
Jamie killed him cause he knew what the ranch would do to him when they found out the truth. I think in his own preverse way he believed he was saving him from that.
First. I can't wait for Spencer to get back and deal with the Englishman and Irish Jamie is spencers grandson. And Garret could have told him. John says we all tried to warn her not to marry Garret. Why would John care if she was a stranger she was johns first cousin. And since Spenser is going to save the ranch, it's Jamie's ranch. And Garret says that. He says they took your birthright away from you. Don't let them do that to you. Now the only way is for Beth to kill Jamie. And die doing it. That's the only way.
Beth and Monica are the worst characters on the show.. Every single Beth scene is the same.. Say mean things and blame Jamie.. Monicas scenes are all the same too, cry and be depressed about something.
