Upper and lower falls are so beautiful. I can't wait to see it all. I am so happy you left in the roaring sounds of Yellowstone river. Such power behind it. I am going to do the north and south rim trail. Well as best as I can.
The upper and lower falls always looks amazing. The grand canyon of Yellowstone, it deserves it's name. However, I was out of breath on the lower falls hike. Lol
I know you was pushing it doing that lower falls. I was dying doing it. I thought I was fit. What beautiful views from the Grand Cayan of Yellowstone. You showed many angles of it.
Love that you kept the sounds of the river throughout parts of the video. Yellowstone river is very powerful. The hike to North and South rim, well the short version that you took, is easy. However, give yourself time to do it all.
Wait I thought no dogs on the trails? Lol. You know people. At least that great Dane was chill. That lower falls hike will hurt your legs. I agree on the breathing park. You have to stand up to breathe.
Very beautiful. Hopefully the Yellowstone river is this peaceful when we come. Well average flow of water unlike the flooding. Going to have to do some walks to get ready for those lower falls switchbacks. Little nervous on that lol.
When I went in August, the water was calm. Actually, it was a drought in the park. But when you come, it magically rains on your visit. It did with mine. But, it brought cool temperatures.
This video was really great, showed the area nicely. We actually did camp at Canyon 10 years ago, it was a pretty big camping area, but it wasn't my favorite place to camp in the park. We actually were able to do the hike down on Uncle Tom's Trail, the hike back up was brutal. It's bot a hike I could do now, so I'm so thankful we did get that experience. Going to Yellowstone always feels like going home to me, it's such a wonderful experience there!
I did half of uncle tom's trail and had to get back around the North Rim before sun down. It was worth it, because I saw the Lower Falls at a better angle. I think it was the best angle than Artist Point. Thanks for watching the video.
Lower falls switchback is not fun to do. I do agree on the breathing methods to get back up. Both it is worth it to do the north and south rim hike. It's a beautiful hike to do.
Going to heading to Yellowstone in 2023 for the first time. Trying to get all the information I can, especially the trails. Going to do the north and south rim trail. I want to get that cool photo at uncle Tom's trail.
We dod this trail at Yellowstone. The rapid water was no joke. It was awesome. Gotta visit the area if you are near canyon village. However, it can be jam packed in the middle of the day. Do yourself a favor, get there early.
Look at the roar of the river 10:46. I think the trails are worth it to do. You see all sides of the canyon, especially on Uncle tome trail. I rather start at your location and hike around.
15:12 is the spot to get the photo of the lower falls. Very good place to be on Uncle tom but small area. So hopefully it would be less people if you get there.
