Your comment about smaller watches: I have a 7.25 inch wrist. Love the way the SARB035 (38x44) fits, actually better than the 41s I have. Definitely not too small.
I like Yema. It is a brand with genuine history and original watches. They have their own in house movement and seem on a real path of momentum. Thanks for the review
Me too. Mine also has a mineral crystal apart from unsigned crown. Love it because of the authenticity and heritage. I think the bezel lock adds to overall appeal, but I agree it is not the most practical thing. Who cares? Are you actually gonna go scuba diving with it? Highly unlikely.
I bought a Vostok Neptune.....which is 39mm....and very similar overall form to this. At first it seemed tiny compared to all my Seiko's (SKX, Monsters and Willards). Once I got used to it though it now doesn't seem small at all on my 7 inch wrists....and many of my other watches seem really quite cumbersome. This 39 is firmly on my shopping list....before the Neptune I'd have ignored it and automatically gone for the 41. This is a great do it all watch.....will look equally good under a cuff with a suit. Can't say that for my Sumo.
Really like the watch! Dig the vintage feel. Would like it more with the in-house. The bezel lock seems like it would be kinda annoying in real life...
I see no reason to adjust a dive bezel after the dive starts. However, most of the time the bezel is set while in the water just before decent. I would hate having my crown unscrewed while in the water. Other than that, I love the watch. That bezel lock is a deal breaker for me.
You don't adjust your dive time. However if you have to do decompression stops, you may take a note of your current dive time, and then reset the bezel to time your stops. Not elegant but doable. However this watch should come without date, and without this frail, flapping contraption locking the bezel... Heritage or not.
The only time I could see setting the dive timer in the water is if you dropped in but stayed on the surface for a while as the rest of the dive party entered the water. That said, you’d still be on the surface for that so you’d probably be okay to just keep your wrist out of the water and adjusting it that way.
I have this watch, you can just emove the bezel lock by removing the crown, if you want to keep the lock on for a visual look you can just take a file and grind off the locking metal it's not a big problem
The locking mechanism on the Crown appears to be damaging the aluminum bezel over time? Lot of scratches on that 15min area on the bezel, under the lock.
Its a beautiful watch, personally I like the sellita movement. But this particular model isn't for me because of the taper waaaay down to 16mm. Very nice though
20 tapering to 16 is the standard for bracelets, that’s a 4mm taper. Oyster and Jubilee normally taper that much, and I think the omega bracelets also have a 4mm taper
@@HH60gPaveHawk i know alot of companies use those dimensions but its not a comfortable fit on my wrist. If a bracelet tapers that much I won't get it.i prefer either no taper or just to 18, which all my 20mm bracelets are.
@@RandomRobReviews Yes they take a month to give you a return authorisation, Takes a week for them to reply to you via email, guy on RU-vid apostle P is still waiting
I have to second this... They make beautiful watchers, but QC and customer service are terrible. Had to send my Navygraf back and it wasn't a pleasant experience.
