I'm sitting here in awe. How on earth did someone even begin to transfer each small gain on this map with how little info on the subject is released? This must have taken forever to make +1.
They never were The Saudis have border with Yemen, have a very large Yemeni expat population working in their economy, and have a strategic interest in keeping Yemen in one piece (floods of migrants, a multiplication of terrorist groups' activities, threat to oil production, and of course being squeezed by Iran more), but the UAE literally has nothing of the formerly mentioned, so what really brought them to Yemen? A question that really deserves a good answer 😊
Red aren't by any definition " Islam1sts" . And Shi'a aren't in any way better than Sunnis . You have fake outrage and no significant casualties and infact close to none caused by the Taliban to the Shi'as under their rule whilst you can't get away for existing as a Sunni in anyplace controlled by Shiite terrorists in Iraq Lebanon etc. Zaydis aren't even really Shi'as where it counts and are more way more mild and sensible. There are rumours that their leadership is radicalised by Iran to their pagan interpretation though. Yellow are "secular" puppets of UAE . If you think red being majority Sunni suddenly made them " Islam1st" why not with yellow? Really the ranking is G-R-Y
Can yall leftists just shut the fuck up once and for all? "goodness" he said, he even wrote it in between quotation marks because he himself realizes that he's talking out of his ass cheeks lmfao. don't make me chuckle dude.
Wow you realise Ansar Allah, began only as a movement based on the Quran with only speakers no Army no military rankings nothing And they were constantly killed jailed and being told lies about them, the founder of the movement Hussein Badder Al Deen Al Houthi (current leader’s older brother) was martyred with 100 other Yemenis in a US Saleh Gov Saudi coordinated attack when they sent tanks and brigades to Hussein’s house when he had no army nothing Subhan Allah after many years of fighting tiday the Ansar Allah movement have managed to completely block the Red Sea for Israeli US UK ships and at the same time they have ballistic missile cruise missile and many other military capabilities That is God’s miracle ☝🏻 🇾🇪
I’ll give you guys a brief history: In the past yemen was divided into 2 countries but they got United 30 years ago. The yellow on the map is the stc which wants to be separate again. They are backed up the uae(who is helping them for oil). They want independence because they say the northerns are using the money for the northern cities and not the southern cities. The green are the houthis who want to make yemen under their rule, they claimed they were being harassed by their northern neighbor(Saudi Arabia) and decided to do somthing about it. The houthis are getting weapons and support from Iran 🇮🇷 The red is the international recognized country of Yemen 🇾🇪 backed by the Saudi and many other Arab states.🇪🇬🇸🇩🇸🇦 And the gray and black spots are irrelevant sepratist movements
@@scar-p9e blue are local regions raising their own militias to keep the other armies out. Green wants to rule all of yemen, yellow wants the northwest to be a separate country from the rest.
Many smaller mistakes (nothing major), but you expect such thing from such an underreported subject Please keep up such information, you are doing the world a favor by documenting this war for the future to come And please make the colors and the state line more clear, my eyes hurt me from focusing too hard on such colors and lines 😅
@@the_borys Thank you! I remember reading that the STC and the Hadi government were starting to work together again. Is that not true anymore? From late 2020 to early 2022, it seemed like the frontlines stabilized between the two, but I would imagine that this recent offensive probably damaged that collaboration.
@@daltonmiller5590 It is still true, Especially when STC is supported by UAE and Hadi being supported by Saudi, Both the STC and UAE are with saudi's side in the intervention
@@the_borys Thanks it is hard to find information about this stuff,al jazeera and other international organsations seem to just not care about reporting the situation in there.
Saudi Arabia should have helped Yemen immediately. The war would be over before the end of 2014. But they hesitated and Houthis captured few weapons and ammo stockpiles which helped them secure the weapons delivery route from Iran.
I know that the war started in 2014, but when did the houthis and al qaeda exactly started gaining territories?! What was the first territory the houthis gained in their insurgency(2004-2014)?!
