So I've discovered Yemi Alade like a week ago with Johnny, I must say that I've been astonished with her videos and songs. Its really great to see an actual african female lady like Yemi to empower her own identity and culture and incorporate it so effectively into her music. Yemi Alade has taken over as the African queen. I don't know the criteria for awarding the best female act in AfroPop music but everything this lady showcase in music represents African culture and heritage. All her music visuals spreads the glamour and alure of African dance, beads, dresses, rythm manhood and womanhood. She didn't have to travel to Jamaica, South Africa and Europe to patronize prostitutes who'd sit naked in exotic cars sipping a cup of fake wines. I hope you keep it this way Yemi. Originality is uncompetitive.

Originality surely has no competition. Our culture will never die...
