Yennefer & Ciri - Mother & Daughter [The Witcher 3] 

After making a fan video for Geralt and Yennefer. I watched the episodes again and noticed the mother daughter relationship. I was tired but still made this video because it was just too hard to ignore the love they have for eachother. Can't wait to complete the edit as soon as the last episodes are released. Yeah and it was never a plot line in the book 🙄

Yennefer and Ciri had not formed a emotional connection yet. So course despite her feelings for Geralt was willing to cross the line to get back the only thing that she had left. That shows that there's no limit to what Yennefer would do to keep what she believes is all she has left. Plus at that time Yennefer and Ciri where strangers. Had no relation to one another. Now Yennefer realize Ciri as the child she could never have was what she was searching for. What she did in the past shows that there's no line she wouldn't cross to protect and keep what or whom she loves. Now that she found and bonded with Ciri. Ciri is now the one that she would cross every line for. Unlike Geralt who has a limit to how for he'll go to protect Ciri. Yennefer has no limits. Geralt is not willing to risk innocent lives for Ciri. But Yennefer is willing to kill do what ever it takes to protect Ciri.

@HaleySmith It was not a plot line in the book. But we can't say that book Yennefer wouldn't have did the same thing to someone she knew nothing about accept for what she was told. If she was in the shows Yennefer shues. Her first meeting with Ciri may have been similar to the show Yennefer. Yennefer has always been a prideful selfish person whom only cared about her own self interest above all else. If what happened to show Yennefer happened to book Yennefer and the deathly mother got to her first before Tris or Geralt told her about Ciri. Her meeting with Ciri may have been different as well. What Yennefer did in season 2. Shows how for she's willing to go to protect Ciri. In season 2 her powers was at most important. Because she hadn't met ciri yet and she feared that her and Geralt's feelings for eachother is fake made up by a wish. She lost hope of being a mother and lost the one thing that she had left. Now Ciri is taking the place of that power Yennefer earned so bad. If Yennefer lost her powers again. It won't affect her as much as now she has Geralt and Ciri. The only reason losing her powers again would affect her is that it'll be harder to protect Ciri. I've read the books alot. Played the 3 witcher game more than once. I noticed more similarities between the yennerfer personality and behavior wise in the books game and show that no one else seems to notice as everyone is to busy criticising and obsessing with the fact that they made some changes to one of the fan favorite characters scenes and behavior. People behave differently depending on circumstances. Books tell more in details. So you understand them better.

@@ericasharp1872 Because sacrificing a child you don't know is much more ok. Plus, when she's the ward of an ex-lover/boyfriend, it really changes the situation completely. It doesn't make her sound like a vile selfish psycho at all. I'm hoping that the moment they get to know Ciri a little bit, the other bad guys in the series will be just as nice and drop their selfish agendas, because at the moment I'm somehow missing the difference between her and Vilgefortz (besides the fact that the series said she's good and he's evil). And don't tell me this whiny little slut has anything in common with Yennefer from the books. Yennefer was unpleasant and hard to like... but she wasn't outright evil. Not to mention that she almost always took the blame for her actions and never willingly allowed anyone else to pay for her mistakes.
