I don't understand the point of making a car like this and then just producing 250 units it's a ford product ford makes cars for the masses ,the cars should be readily available for anyone who can afford them ,mass producing them doesn't take away the specialness of the car. I can just dream of getting my hand on of these but only 250 made there's no way
@@jeremyclarkson-69 bud ford does make a car for the masses it's called the mustang ecoboost, mustang gt, and mustang darkhorse. This car is shelby Americans take on modifying a mustang, it isn't ford making it.
@@Andrew58251 not even the dark horse is being produced for the masses they said it's limited production not as little as the super snake but still limited ,they licensed the name and Branding ford and Shelby have a strong partnership so why not make the cars readily available.
The fact that you can get a manual transmission means a lot. I want one in the blue with white Shelby stripes with the six speed. The best Shelby yet in my opinion
I've gotta say it's the nicest looking Shelby ever. I'm super impressed with what they did the back end and that little duck tail area, the entire design is cohesive. Great wheels too.
@@buick455muscle it makes more power than the coyote tho, and I don't know what you mean by sounds weak to me it's sounds nice and it's purposely made to have a lot of rpms since they have a bigger weight on the power equation rather than torque Wich is harder to increase by hundred where rpms is more straight forward
@@jeremyclarkson-69 it’s all noise, has no deep tone that the Gt500 or even the 5.0 has, it’s just the nature of flat plane crank V8 engines. I like the deep sound and torque of the cross plane 5.0.
I think the duck-tail spoiler underneath the rear mounted wing gives the S650 Mustang what I think it was missing. As much as I love the design of the S650, something about the top-rear portion of the car looks weirdly flat like something should be there that's not a flat trunk lid spoiler you'd get on your regular S650 or S650 GT. This spoiler gives the car a nice sendoff in the rear.
That duckbill spoiler is just was the new design needs. Right now, even with the variety of available stock spoilers, the rear almost sags. Love this new look.

It’s never ever been over a 1000HP I can tell you been watching too many Dodge videos Dodge cars have all that horsepower and still get left in the dust I bet any money you race this against a Dodge Demon it’s going to win based off weight distribution and Ford cars always have been tune cars aftermarket Ford always has room for mods Dodge guys basically have to reconstruct the entire engine to get 800hp in a RT and Scatpack even Camaros have to redo their entire engines lmao

Amazing it looks very beautiful. It is a big shame only around 200 of them are being made for that year. I will probably never get to see it in person. Hopefully they won't limit the amount of the next cool mustang. Great video

I've owned nothing but dodge since 2010 but I absolutely Love The Shelby GT500. This is a gorgeous gorgeous car. The only negative I can say about this car is the fact that they are only producing 250 Units. I'm afraid that's gonna make the price point "Exotic Level".

This is why from the Jump, I thought getting the Dark Horse was dumb.. I was the one screaming that there would be S650 Shelby GT350's and GT500's coming! Honestly a GT Performance Pack all anyone needs especially because most people end up Modding their cars to death anyway!

Pretty disappointing.production numbers. I was thinking that I may trade in on my GT350 to buy one of these, but with those low.nimbers, the price tag on these will be out of sight. Sad.
