So true. People will downplay someone with a high level face out of insecurity. They'll compare that high level face to someone with a lower level face and say that the lower level face person "has more harmony" or "has more appeal to the female gaze" (mostly bullshit), because that reflects more to how they look and people don't like to feel like they are lower than someone else on a physically attractive scale. It's just insecurity.

"Models are attractive but they have low appeal" Attractive by definition means appealing or pleasing to the senses. This is no different than women saying an attractive woman isn't all that. And people try to insist that men and women are different
