I bought a LeSharo (I think it was 88 or 86) in 2019. Added 10,000 miles to the 45,000 already on it. I kept having problems under the hood, so donated it to Goodwill with a list of known issues. Anyway I lived in it for a year and a half and loved it. Slept in the front. I'm 5'1" and fit in the shower pretty well. It had been kept in good shape inside and out (with the exception of the issues) and also got a lot of attention. I had just retired and loved driving it. I'm an 82yo female and now live in a 5th wheel which I had parked for me on a leased lot in an RV park in the mountains in Southern NM. I miss traveling, but love where I'm at. I would buy the Rialta next time as it did not have the same problems as the LS if I were to go that route again. Thank you for your video. (Speaking of 'boats' I lived on a 1960 wood boat in Alaska for 12 years before I came back to the lower states). Also loved living on the water. Hope you have found work on the boats.
This is cool! I have a 92 LS and love it. always get attention when we are on our trips. Someone actually stopped by our home and knock at the door to ask if we were interested in selling. Also, Facebook and Yahoo group community are very helpful. I think there is a Rally coming up soon. I enjoy watching your videos!
I have a LeSharo! I have to rewire a lot of it so it doesn't run at the moment. I plan on adding solar and an apu, updating the exterior lights, painting, fixing roof leaks, replacing the kitchen area and possibly taking out the front bed for extra room. If I end up keeping it, I will be painting the exterior and maybe some airbrush work 💜
Sounds like a lot of work! Good luck. I love this thing and don't think I'd ever sell it. In fact someone offered to buy it on the street the other day. But I don't want to be homeless!
I’m just starting to convert my truck into a truck camper that I’ll live in. I’m hopefully going to travel. I commented on one of your videos about thinking of getting the rv exactly like yours. Now I’m gonna be driving a 1979 ford f150 with a 302 in it and a camper over the top haha
The nice thing about the LeSharo is that you can sleep in the van sideways and fully stretch out. Can't do that in a Sprinter/Ford/Ram without a wide body. But the LeSharo still fits in a regular parking space, which a class C won't do. The height is a bit annoying at times but you do get used to it. When possible I cook standing outside the door and just reach in.
