We’ve had the same thing here in Orlando, in the Dr. Phillips area on the corner. We have two Publix stores within 500 yards of each other, and that’s been that way since 2014.
It seems like a land grab, this does a disservice to residents of the area, by preventing a lower priced option like Aldi from being able to open up there.
Comedian Lewis Black: "The end of the universe happen to be in the United States. I've seen it. And, oddly enough, it's in Houston, Texas. I know. I know. I was shocked too. I walked down the street. There was a Starbucks. And directly across was another Starbucks. At first I thought the sun was playing a trick on my eyes. But no, there was a Starbucks across from another Starbucks. And that my friend, is The End of the Universe."
Yeah! take that you food deserts...WTF! 😏 some areas can't even get one😬 maybe the lease on the old building is about expire soon or in a few years, so they just planning ahead🤔 same area new market🤨
Publix does the most stupidest things. Why would you open a store right next to another one.... Why not buy the land. And expanded to the parking lot. And make the Publix even bigger.... But no. That's what THEY Do
What good reason causes you hate publix? Publix is an amazing company. Trust me, I work for publix and I have never seen a company truly value their customers & employees like publix, and I have worked for many companies in my life.
@@jeff1992000 They sure didn't value me when I worked there. The people running Publix were some of the most awful people I'd ever met. I'll never support them again.
