Seeing this loving family vividly brings out the fact that families all over this planet are much the same....it's the governments that tend to cause most of man's problems. Teal is one lucky dude to have such awesome females by his side.
That is crazy how much snow you received. In Dec of 2017 one month after we bought our bout I went down to North Carolina to the boat because everyone said winters are great, a little chilly at night, but 50's and 60's during the day. Living in Minnesota I knew those temps would feel like summer to me. Well...... NC received record amounts of snow and said it was a once in 100 year snow storm. I was using a dust pan to scoop snow off my boat. No sailboat should ever see snow in my opinion. Always enjoy watching you guys.
Excellent history of the snow and lunar holiday. I celebrated both by being in Thailand from dec to mid February . Also had a friend who was dancing in the tunnel with the dance company I think it’s called Radost.. hope your over the flu, again thanks
When I heard the news on record snowfall in Seattle my first thought was about your family and your boat! Glad to see you survived the snow and hope you recover quickly from the Flu.
Hey Linh, A tip what i do when i have the flu. This is for Teal, make him a black coffee with a shot of brandy mixed in and make for dinner eather a hot chilliy con currie or a good hot curry. and for Emma maybe a hot choclet with some strong pepprmint. Great to see whats going on in your part of the world. Gerard.
Lucky old me has his birthday in the beginning of February!! Living in England as well makes for great outdoor birthday parties NOT. can’t wait for summer. Keep up the great work
Just back from my boat. Looking at you sweeping snow from the deck reminded me I should do the same on mine. I had to shovel 2 feet of snow and ice from the deck and cockpit. Watching your channel help me going thru our LONG winter here.
The snow scene (uggg!!) has shown you need many more handrails or grab holds when in a sea for crew safety. Know you can handle that easily. !! Yummmmmmmy 👍👌🤘
You picked a great time to leave! My son is over in Kirkland and they got blasted with snow. I lived on a Yacht in Portland when we had 12 plus inches but we where on a motor yacht with a covered slip:) I bet you can't wait to get out to sunshine:)
the flu is rockin the planet - cought mine last Sunday, my wife followed by Wednesday - all the best from Southern Bavaria - hope to see you all well and healthy again next time.
I'll be glad when your done sanding, the noise of that orbital sander will drive you nuts. So far Atlanta, Georgia, has been spared from having any snow so far this year, just cold temps. So much for Global warming, really? I haven't had the Flu in over 50 years, when I lived in Michigan, it seemed like I had it 5-6 times a year. I certainly don't miss it. Get well, and get back to work. Love Y'all.
We got over a foot here in Kitsap. My boat was down a few inches forward and starboard due to the weight of the snow on the bow. Had a boat in the marina nearly sink. Get well soon.
Good luck getting over the flu team....that snow looks cold...I was checking and checking to see if your video posted so you also have me thoroughly hooked..and a little worried...which is a good thing :-) Compass: Not only security but a spare electric blanket.
this was an amazing episode. Linh, I am a Vietnam veteran and a 4th generation Texan. i would like to say i am glad your family moved to the USA and wish more could have made it. so welcome to Texas to you and your family....and may God Bless all of you.
It can snow here until March in the Netherlands. But were i am, the deep North of the Kingdom, with Norway just North across the Sea and Denmark to our East (right) across the Sea it can snow until well into April sometimes. Although it's been snowing less than usual these past years, you still have to account for it to happen. It's currently -5° Celcius, luckily no snow though,.....knock on wood xD.
Happy new year (the year of the pig) from Ho Chi Minh(Saigon) Vietnam. my you have prosperity, health, and wealth in the coming year... And keep up the vloging...
I saw everyone walking down to that the last day of the boat show. Looked like there were a whole lot of people there. For the storms I was down in Tacoma, I cheated though, just turned up the heat super high and it all melted as soon as it hit the deck!
Chúc mừng năm mới 2019. Happy new year of the pig. My wife is Vietnamese, I know what it is when it is time to celebrate in family. Better for you to go south before the climate in Seattle become as frigid as it is in Québec.
Beautiful family Linh! That’s so nice to have that old Alaska Parkway gone and it’s fabulous they let the public have a walk through the great achievement for the city! Thank you for the tour and travels, get well soon and great job Linh taking care of them!
So you bailed out when the going looked like it was going to get tough.LOL When it decided to stop snowing I had 18" in my front yard here in Kitsap. As of today (18 Feb) I still have around 3" in front but melting away. I see possibily another inch or two Wed and Friday. Did you plan the trip to Texas before storm? When it started snowing I thought about you guys and dealing with that much snow. Glad to see you have survived fabulously. I am dealing with a techie problem maybe you can shed some light. Only on your channel the playback stops with "LOADING" displayed. Both on my Samsung Smart TV and my tablet. Indefinitely. I have to just change channels to get it started again. Finally got though to the end. Mind you, only your RU-vid channel, no others. As a 50 year career geekland I am perplexed. Again glad to see you all back and coping.
I was wondering how all was going on the boat... I remember something about new heater, hope they are working above expectations. I am west of you about 100 miles in Port Angeles. We got around 16 inches the first storm, the second brought it up to around 26 inches. There was a third but it was more of a freezing rain and snow mix...... Fun times seeing your family. Stay warm out there and get well soon.
You're in Washington on the water, in winter, what do you expect? I was there for 45 years. You need to head for Paradise at Mt. Rainier before you leave, We use to dig snow caves up there. I live in San Antonio now.
