Not sure why the Ghibli doesn't get more love from the RU-vid community. I bought a '17 SQ4 in '20 and it's been the most fun car I've ever had. The CPO warranty is ending soon and I've decided not to extend it because it has been so reliable, that I don't think the expense of the warranty is worth it. Sure, I may have a component go out here and there just like any car, but from what I read on the forums, the major expense issues like engine and transmission are really well built. Nice channel btw.

I got my Maserati sq4 95k miles for 25,800 with a 6k warranty powertrain extended. Engine to ball joint 2 yrs or 200k miles. I love my maserati. Own a scat as well. Love the video. Give my page a look when u can.
Love your videos man ! I started following when I purchased my Maserati ghibli sq4 about a year and 4months ago. Got her with 9k miles ! No issues what so ever ! Just some minor break squeals here and there . Nothing major though.! Was so reliable for me . Never let me down . Sadly , she went down about 2 months ago. Someone ran a stop sign and hit me . Totaling her with just 18kmiles ) : don’t understand why people bash the ghibli sometimes ! Such a sweet sound and reliable . Atleast for me! Now I’m currently about 3 weeks into owning a 17’ giulia quadrifoglio ! Holy sheeeez ! What an upgrade lol shoutout to you though James ! Keep up there videos man !
My dad owns a quattroporte and it's very good more leather more wood and more space. I like the ghibli too it looks very aggressive in the front just less leather and space and is smaller. Allthough I recommend the quattroporte.
@@JamesDIYGarage yeah it's a pretty nice option for the ghibli if the regular option doesnt make u happy. Good that you can have full leather on the ghibli too
Yes, no issues at all. I do notice gains, but we're not going to get drastic improvement in 0-60 times. But you can get close to 3.9 sec 0-60 with high octane fuel on map 2.
Hello sir I have the same car as you a Maserati Ghibli 2014 SQ4 I get a low Oil pressure warning but I perfect amount of oil and the car sounds and runs beautifully what’s can be the problem?
I apologize for not seeing this sooner. You may have already taken care of it. But I would replace the oil pressure sensor, then drive the car to see if there is still a low oil pressure issue. If so, your oil pump may be ready to fail.
Fortunately I am able to squeeze 22 MPG average per week with the Pedal Command in Eco, so I only use just over 1/4 tank. So filling back up is not so bad as if I were down to 3/4 a tank.
It's not fun driving it like that huh? I don't like it one bit. Always tempted to step on it. But the Pedal Commander will let me know that I am in eco mode lol.
