It seems like money can be so tight in this mod, i'm really not sure how somebody would beat this on Superhuman, I think you would really need to be quite the superhuman at this game.

A lot of technicians paying for themselves. Like.. basically a second base just next to yours so it's defensible (ideally you also start near the cheap Arctic) with just workshops and dudes churning out things to sell. Also unloading all of your sonic stuff straight away, since it'll be a while before you can use it and you'll stockpile quickly with so many aliens. Same with the ion-beam accelerators - there's a massive amount of money in those. They're handy for disassembling into Zrbite fuel and for making the ships themselves, but you don't need the 50-200 you'll likely get.

I've found that while tactically, higher difficulty is harder, strategically, the game actually gets easier. You encounter way more enemies, and that means more loot to sell.

I think for the easy shore settlements, they're a good opportunity for reaction training. Reactions are the hardest thing to improve in combat and I don't think the training pool increases it either.

Because you upload so slow, I started this mod. I´m only at the 2nd level of difficulty. Aliens intercept my Cormorant at my 2nd base!!! They built a base close to mine. That is kind of cool and challenging. If they find your bases.......Are you sure your 5 man outposts will be enough?

I don't know if it's TWoTS or OpenXCOM, but in my stream I also had the aliens park next-door, and then a second base right next to it. Double bases just next to mine. I basically couldn't do any missions to the West because aliens fighters would shoot us down. Even if I dodged them at the start by going around, the return trip is on auto-pilot and flies right into them. Also, depending on what attacks us, five dudes is often just fine. I usually only use 3-4 anyway with maybe one death. Again, it depends what attacks us.
