I like it! Usually super minimalist when fishing, especially hiking/wading. Flybox, extra tippet, multi-tool forceps, sometimes an extra leader if hiking far..but I Always carry water. Nothing worse than getting Far from truck and getting really thirsty after a few hours, it can be an excursion ender. 🥵😂 Love Yeti products, I’ll check it out. Thanks a lot Alvin. 👍✌️
I love my Yeti bottles but for when I need a lightweight option I have been using the Sigg Explorer bottles. They are single wall stainless steel, extremely light but rugged, will never crack or shatter or fade. They do a few sizes and are priced very fairly. Unlike the original Sigg bottle they have a wider cap which makes cleaning much easier.
I need to check those out, I have a 20+ year old Sigg bottle that has held everything from white gas to scotch, but it has the old school small diameter flip top.
Alvin, I really enjoyed your review. Great information. I'm really trying to decide between the 25oz and the 34oz. Thinking of which one's going to fit in the backpack better. Keep up the great work, love your reviews.
Glad it was helpful! I have used the 34 oz more lately. The 25 seems small, but if you need to save space and don't mind refilling the 25 is pretty small for packing.
