A comprehensive instructional video detailing the installation of the now very rare YF-122S SSB Collins Mechanical Filters into one of the last manufactured Yaesu FT-818 QRP transceivers.
My transceiver was purchased new, toward the end of their production in 2023, and the filter was found on eBay.

I guess mechanical filters, crystal filters, ceramic filters, they all will be replaced by software filters. And maybe that is good, because software filters are not affected by flux cleaning agents!
