Thanks for the video. I just bought a used 2006 yfz450, the steering bushing must be completely worn out, if I grab the handle bars and push and pull there is about 1/4” of play back and forth and it seems to be at the bushing. Your video shows the components pretty clearly and it should be a pretty easy fix.
For what I’m going to do yes. I ride, not race. I’ve never owned a aftermarket steering stem. It is a little longer and made from chromoly. That plus the AVS clamp makes it a win for me.
It wasn't too hard. You can strip and bike down in a day. That includes labeling everything so you know where it all goes when reassembling. Depending on your desires, powder coating might be a better option than paint.
@@juicer911 you have any idea how much it cost to powder coat the frame? I’ve been putting a lot of money on building up my 660r but I kinda feel like stopping where I’m at and building a banshee or any 2 stroke quad I can get a good deal on.
