"That duel made no sense" Keep in mind, every time you find a moment like that in YGO Abridged, that it's because LittleKuriboh doesn't include all the details. He cuts them for the comedy. Just remember that whenever you have questions about "how?!", the answer is usually "card effects" that don't get mentioned in the abridged version.

To be fair, for the sake of make the villain OP as fuck for the movie, they buff the effect of the Malefic archetype so much that is you look at their real effects in the real world, this movie makes no sense either LMAO

Despite how much everyone "hates" Jaden he carried them other two so much in this duel. Both dragons were switched to defense allowing Jaden to use Neos Knight to destroy both since it hits twice. He kept blocking attacks and the only reason Yugi had Kuriboh in his hand was due to Jaden. Honestly while Jaden didn't do the final attack he protected everyobe lol

A lot of jokes from that first part are related to Yu-Gi-Oh 5Ds. And that fourth guy that showed up in subspace at the end was the protagonist of Yu-Gi-Oh Zexal. And to understand the final bit with Kaiba you should watch "Kaiba's real father" which is a two-part skit LittleKuriboh made.

Besides, these three series are still linked to each other more closely than the other series. Aside from them all taking place in Domino City at three different points in time, there are more similarities too: Jaden interacts with multiple characters from the original series (even Miho-the lavender haired girl from season zero-has her name mentioned at one point as one of the people who disappeared); and both Kaiba Corp and Ushio (you know, the man with the thick eyebrows that was the first guy that Yami Yugi ever challenged to a shadow game) play a major role in 5Ds to the point where Ushio is friends with Yusei

To be honest, 5Ds was actually quite fun to watch, there's a consistent running plot and the majority of the main cast are fleshed out enough that you enjoy your time watching them on screen. If you have a couple of hours free one day and have nothing better to do, I'd recommend tracking down and watching a few episodes, that should give you a good idea on if you'll enjoy the show or not. :)

I haven't seen 5d because I watched the first episode and hated the dub voices (it was the only yugioh series where I absolutely hated the dub). That was before I was smart enough to realize there was a sub. But idk if I will watch sub because literally every yugioh series I watch is in dub

Also, 'Jaden' (localized name, btw) isn't as happy as abridged portrays him to be. And most of the fandom who didn't bother to watch GX season 3 and 4, to keep it spoiler free. All of the protagonists of Yugioh have barely happy lives for this or that reason, really.

This movie is a ton of fun but it relies on quite a bit of knowledge on the shows themselves. Especially GX because otherwise you don't know what the deal is with Professor Banner (who was once a teacher at Duel Academy, but was killed and replaced by one of the season's villains and now he's a ghost), the cat (which was one's Banner's; the cat caught and ate Banner's ghost and now Banner lives inside of his cat), and Yubel (a duel spirit who latched onto Jaden when he was young but Yubel went crazy and started hurting people who beat Jaden in a card game, so when Jaden won a contest to have some of his self-designed cards shot into space by Kaba so that aliens could learn Duel Monsters he asked Kaiba if Yubel's card could go as well, to which Kaiba agreed because giving a shit is something for poor people. Yubel returned in season 3 as the primary antagonist). Yusei's story is far easier to understand: he lives in a cyberpunk dystopia that's one bucket of Materia short of being Midgar from Final Fantasy VII and the only way to escape poverty is being good at card games. Fortunately LittleKuriboh has more abridged stuff: one NGE abridged one-shot and a 5Ds one-shot, both can be found by searching for "Card Games for Charity". But if you want to watch the NGE I strongly suggest you watch his video "Dan Greed Presents Abridging 101" first.

Ok so some clarification - Paradox's monsters: are called Malefic monsters. They're different versions of monsters that already exist (for the most part dragons) such as Malefic Red Eyes Black Dragon, Malefic Blue Eyes and Malefic Rainbow Dragon. They're summoned by discarding the copy of their original card to the grave. So for example to summon Malefic Blue Eyes to the field you need to discard a regular Blue Eyes from your hand. - Synchro monsters: The monster Yusei synchro summoned was Junk Gardna. A synchro monster is summoned by sending a special monster called a "tuner monster" and a normal monster who's level match the monster you want to summon from your field. For example to summon that level 6 Junk Gardna you could use combos like a level 4 tuner and a level 2 normal monster or any other combo that adds to 6. - The Spirits Behind Jaden: one of those is one of Jaden's teachers Professor Banner (The Asian guy) who died during GX and is now a spirit. The other is Yubel, a duel monster spirit who used to be an antagonist because she was Jaden's guardian but he sent her away because while Jaden was a child, she would severely hurt anyone who came near him or played any sort of game or duel him because she vowed to protect him. Think that covers most shit haha

it's not the motercycle that's talking, the crimson dragon is the main plot point of the whole 5ds series, it's what gives yussi his powers. you really need to check out yugioh 5ds. the demon creature is a duel monster spirit called yubel, she fused with Jaden at the end of one of the gx arcs and the asian guy is the spirit of one of jaden's teachers. Oh and in the original 5ds series it wasn't card games that destoryed the world, man got so greedy and so advanced in technology that it became a war between man and machine, the card game had nothing to do with it. That was just how they explained away in the dub of 5ds.

I would like to point out that this movie is canon- it is referenced later in the 5Ds anime even if for like five seconds so it does fit in with the plot of 5Ds and so continuity is maintained in that sense. In that vein it ia better than the other Yu-Gi-Oh! movie which was never mentioned again. 5Ds has a lot of time travel towards the end though.

Correct. Paradox was the first enemy of the new Group, but after the movie, the rest realized, that killing 3 People with plot armor was too complicated, so they decided to only mess with the 5ds timezone.

If your a Yu-Gi-Oh fan, definitely watch the Yu-Gi-Oh Dark Side of Dimensions movie that came out in 2016, it's actually amazing. Yu-Gi-Oh with updated graphics, but the original series. It's amazing. :) I don't need a reaction to it, but for YGO fans this movie is a must.

How to make a cheesecake INGREDIENTS GRAHAM CRACKER CRUST 1 1/2 c graham cracker crumbs 2 TB granulated sugar 6 TB melted butter CHEESECAKE LAYER 1 packet gelatin (about 2 1/4 tsp) 1/4 c boiling water 24 oz cream cheese softened to room temp 1 3/4 c powdered sugar sifted 2 tsp vanilla extract 2 tsp lemon juice freshly squeezed 1/2 c plain Greek yogurt or sour cream 1 1/2 c frozen whipped topping thawed STRAWBERRY TOPPING 16 oz fresh strawberries 1/3 c granulated sugar whipped cream for serving optional INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE GRAHAM CRACKER CRUST Lightly grease a 9 inch springform pan with cooking spray. In a medium bowl stir together the graham crumbs, 2 tablespoons sugar, and melted butter. Press into the bottom of the springform pan, making a slight lip up the sides of the pan. Place in the freezer while you make the cream cheese layer. FOR THE CHEESECAKE LAYER In a small bowl dissolve the gelatin in the boiling water and let sit while you make the filling. In a large bowl beat the cream cheese until very soft. Then mix in the powdered sugar, vanilla extract, lemon juice, sour cream and gelatin mixture. Turn off the mixer and gently fold in the whipped topping. Then take the springform pan out of the freezer and spoon the cheesecake layer overtop, smoothing the top with a flat-edge knife or spatula. Set in the fridge to chill for at least 6 hours, or overnight. You can also speed up this process by placing the cheesecake in the freezer. FOR THE SUGARED STRAWBERRIES A few hours before you plan to serve the cheesecake, you can make the sugared strawberries. This brings out the juices in the strawberries. First, hull the strawberries then cut them into quarters or eighths. Toss the strawberries with the sugar, and then place in a container in the fridge. To serve the cheesecake, take it out of the fridge and trace the edges of the springform pan with a thin sharp knife. Then unclamp the pan and cut into pieces. Top with whipped cream and sugared berries.

Yeah if you haven't seen GX season 4 which most westerners wouldn't have since it wasn't dubbed Jaden fused with Yubel which is the glowing eyes. For us we only got to season 3 so to us Jaden was pretty much dead and then they went to 5Ds. Also the malefic monsters can be summoned by sending the original version to the grave.

I am not sure how that would work out. Yusaku's is a serious introvert, Yuya is mentally unstable and Yuma might actually be the voice of reason. Plus vrains introduced link monsters which would significantly alter Yuma's and Yuya's playstyle. The first 3 protagonists work mainly because in each subsequent season the mechanic did not affect the game board. I would have liked to see Kaiba interact with Zane or Chazz and Jack Atlas... I don't think that Domino City can hold that much ego

So YGOTAS always made fun of yugioh gx because its a bad show (which i liked as a kid) and jaden because he is terrible compared to the other protags of the other series. I always thought he was Jaden Yugi and somehow was related to Yugi from S1 somehow, and only now that I keep hearing his name in this, I realize its Jaden Yuki... wow, that changed a shit ton of my preconceptions of him...

i didn't watch a whole lot of 5Ds but part of the plot revolves around some sort of reactor that somehow reacts to certain monsters being summoned or doing battle by producing uncontrollable amounts of energy, so i always assumed that paradox somehow needed to gather such powerful cards in order to power his time machine to extend the limits of how far he can go back, which is why he had to first steal star dust dragon and then elemental hero neos before he eventually ended up in yugis time line, where i assume he was planning on stealing dark magician next in order to go back even further.

well the complete history is: Jaden is kind of the Reincarnation of a ancient King/prince Yubel was one of his servants that implant a heart of Dragon to be able to protect him from the Darkness, and etc. when Jaden was a Child he have a Yubel card that have her Soul, in Jaden childhood the card gave Jaden friends heart attacks when they beat Jaden in card games or talk bad about her about space thing, Kaiba made a program to send trading cards to space, Jaden was chosen and send Yubel together with the Neos cards that he make, in the Space the Yubel card gain power, but suffer from the cosmic energies, then she come back to Earth kinda of mad a entire season of her kidnaping Jaden best friend, and send people to other dimension happen until Jaden confront her, then he discover the plot, and decide to fuse her with him to dont let her alone again, and because of that she is like the Atem with Yugi(but just in last season).

Yugioh 5ds is kinda like Evangelion Has the first impact. Paradox comes from the second impact that happened. So he tries to get rid of card games to prevent the second impact by going back in time as a machine. He was one of mankind's last four survivors in an apocalyptic future that survived from the Meklord/Angels Emperor genocide that killed everyone else. PS: I know you did the Evangelion abridged series. Have you seen EvAbridge? Its base on the first movie and totally make you have a lot of laughs Have you seen
