Great vid, one thing though to remember is that he can plan quite far in just inspection, there's a video with him vs xuanyi geng where they try to go as far as possible. While xuanyi was able to do up to full f2l+last layer cross, yiheng could do 2-3 pairs quite consistently. So in quite a few cases, especially if it happens mid f2l, you can probably assume some of the weird tricks were already planned in inspection.
True but getting at least 3 sub 4 Solves in one Average is a lot harder than getting 2 sub 3 and a few low 4 Cause even if he gets 3 sub 3 the 3rd counting solve had to be low enough to it being a sub 4 ao5
@@patrickkoprek4621 if you notice, sub 4 would have happened in this average if he got at least 4.01 in the first solve (4.71). It would be counting 4.01, 4.00, 3.98 and the average would have been 3.99
0:16 the only way you can be wrong with that statement is when he skips right to 3.9s Ao5 on his next PB performance :P I hope Yiheng stays in cubing for loooooong years, I feel a bit like in Felix's domination days. Personally I'd like to see someone make a dent in Wang's armor by getting some sort of regular advantage in one stat/record, so that even more competition could arise, but right now it seems unlikely - everything the kid touches he gets the WR sooner or later and keeps it. I see and know that the competition is out there already, don't read it as disrespect, more of a praise to Yiheng's latest performances.
for the second solve, doing 2 pushes for pll, one for pre auf, the other in the start of the alg just kinda doesn't make sense i would just do U' into the other R3 u perm or do a U into the MU alg

meanwhile me barely doing f2l in 5 seconds sonetimes (i dont change my solutions to influence next pair i just do the same solution and sometimes cancel into next pair)
@@BrinaSun how to getting better though I've had a plateau (average only went from 12.2 to 12.1 in like 5-6 months) and idk what to do to go faster now. How to practice pause not much with turn fast?

@@BrinaSun with sometimes I mean like my sub 9.5 solves are around 5s f2l (still too long last layer, I really should get better algs and drill my algs)
The interesting thing on the last solve is that he could of canceled into back niklas which might have been faster, idk tho as back niklas is not as fast
