Katie was dismissive, rude she was rushing me, she was disgusting to me, and she treated me like “the help” and when it was time to check out she made a scene asking why she had to wait online she said “don’t you know who I am!!” is there someone else that can check me out?!! she was a nightmare!!! she literally pulled the celebrity card on me and I was so disgusted by her behavior and her daughter even apologized for her behavior. so do with that what you will

I’m the stay in my lane kind of woman. I’m in the background most of the time. I will take on a leadership role if the leader is incompetent and I feel like my skills and expertise are needed. I will help if you ask me for help. I will speak when spoken to. Outside of that, you probably won’t know I exist lol. I have surprisingly made it very far in the corporate world by staying in my lane. People seem to like that I just say things as I see them, cause no drama or trouble and just perform well at the work that I do.

Adrienne needs to be informed on what’s she’s talking about before she spews accusations. So glad Garcelle corrected her and did her due diligence to read the facts beforehand!

I mean this happens all the time…it’s funny we just had DC Young Fly on… because sum of his work colleagues at Wild N Out… Darren Brand & Timothy DelaGhetto were very clear that they felt like they at some point on their off season they were coaches and mentors to some of the new talent that was auditioning back in 2018-19 and then they realized that the same folks they were mentoring were eventually their replacements… and it’s crazy cuz when you build a rapport within the work space there’s always room to come back at any point in time ( case in point Tam Tam leaving & Garcelle replacing her and Tam being a guest last year )! I think you should be able to tell your story no matter if anyone cares or not… but I think in some cases it’s ok to also accept that every job isn’t forever and it’s ok to be like “ this is where my journey pauses… but someone else’s begins “

Katie Couric is a very messy unkind person obviously, and writing this book now for a cash cow it’s ridiculous and toxic. The things you said about, and have done to others you deserve to be alienated. Just how she apparently was hush during the Matt Lauer controversy, while many other women were sexually harassed & violated. I used to sort of like and admire her as a journalist. She’s very selfish and not a good, warm hearted, wholesome person, as she falsely comes off to be, so stop with the excuses. 😑

Yes Loni. Other women have been the nastiest to me in the workforce. When I first started out in the mental health field, a female coworker wrote me up for something I didn't do and tried to get my fired. I remember wearing my class ring to work and this same female coworker went to the boss about it, and we got an email saying how we shouldn't be wearing "excessive jewelry" as it may make the clients feel bad. It was the craziest thing (and I honestly hope that woman is miserable to this day). As a Black woman especially, I learned my lesson quick and in a hurry. I switched careers entirely and have been guarded ever since. I used to be very naive, out here supporting other women who would've thrown me under the bus in a heartbeat. They smile in your face, but you never really know. I keep to myself at work, I have no friends at work, I trust nobody at work. I do my job and go home

So I’ve worked in an environment close to other women and I’ve also worked in an environment that was 90% male dominated and I will say I absolutely loved working with men compared to working with women. As long as I stayed in my lane and was respectful, nobody bothered me, I was at peace, of course it had its cons, but compared to working with women, it was never messy or full of drama.
