Yes Jim, there are many prophecies in the Old Testament Bible about the desert/wilderness being transformed by the people of Israel, under God`s providential care and guidance. Read chapter 35 of the prophecy of Isaiah in the OT. It`s only ten verses but says a lot. See also Isaiah chapter 51 verses 1 to 4. Blessings to you.

I have a question Yishai. I was in Hebron back in the 80,s when I was in Israel at that time. Am I, as a Jewish female tourist aged 58 from USA able to visit places like Hebron and Nablus right now? I am visiting Israel in November and would like to go visit there again for the day. Is it safe for me? Thanks!!
