This is my first "encounter" with Mr. Fatah and appreciated his perspective. I wanted to learn more about him and was very sad to find that he had passed away just over a year ago. His was a voice we all could have benefitted from. There are a couple of books he's written and I will be checking them out.

The 'disputed' land in that area was called Judaea and Samaria by all the inhabitants of the area before the occupying Romans renamed that area Palestine. It was understood by all that it was Jewish land! The Romans were trying to distance the Jews from their land with words before outright taking the land. Before the Romans renamed the area Palestine, there was no Palestine anywhere in that area. The Romans then forced the Jews off their homeland as it was the Jews who resisted the Roman occupation the most. Judaea means either "Land of the Jews" or "Land of Israel." Thank you for confirming that. 99.9 % of people know that land always belonged to Jewish people. UNFORTUNATELY, as long as HAMAS and Palestinians, including Muslim countries, continue to spread false information, it won't benefit anyone. Gaza effectively was its own independant state since 2005 when all Israelis were moved out. We can see what they did with this independance, voted in Hamas and most of the population continues to support them...they created a terrorist state, thats what they did with their independance. So 2 state solution in dead in the water. Dividing a country only creates 2 entities to war with each other.

Mr. Fattah, Lebanon is very old country. It was mentioned in the Old Testament of our Holy Bible as well as the cities of Tyre (who resisted successfully the siege of Nabukadnassar for 13 consecutives years), Sidon, and the Cedar-Trees of Lebanon (out of which the Temple of God was built by King Solomon), etc...

The Palestinians in Gaza & Judea & Samaria & East Jerusalem should just move to Jordan or anywhere in the Arab world, if they can’t & won’t live peaceably with the Jews. As far as international law goes, in 1922, at the end of WW1 when the Ottoman Empire was finally dissolved, the 51 member countries of the League of Nations unanimously voted to recognise the Jewish people's right to the land of Israel - and this next point is quite important - the League of Nations clarified that this formal, international recognition of the Jewish people's right to the land of Israel was "not by sufferance but by historical right ", meaning not in compensation for the brutality done to the Jewish people for millennia, but because in truth, as undeniably evidenced by history, the land in fact belongs rightly to the Jewish people. And also key to CORRECTING PEOPLE'S MISUNDERSTANDINGS ABOUT ISRAEL is this: so many people mistakenly, (even if well intended), believe that the U.N. gave half of Israel to the Arabs in 1947, and therefore they mistakenly think that for Jews to live in the land of Israel, or to establish homes with the area known as the West Bank or Gaza is equal to theft of the land - calling it 'occupation'. The UNDENIABLE FACT however is that the U.N. only *proposed* the division of the land via a non-binding recommendation which has no force in law whatsoever. The Jews, after decades of being violently terrorised and murdered by their Arab neighbours said they'd be willing to accept this proposition and share their one and only tiny homeland IF only it could mean a cessation of Arab attacks on Jewish people finally. Murderous armed robbery is not at all peace. But the following knowledge is KEY to honest and correct understanding of the rights to the land - once the League of Nations was disbanded and the United Nations took its place, the member states of the U.N. agreed to maintain all agreements and " not alter in any manner the rights whatsoever of any states or any peoples or the terms of existing international instruments to which Members of the United Nations may respectively be parties ” (article 80, U.N. Charter). Additionally the Arabs vehemently and fiercely rejected the offer, since accepting half of the land is in their eyes a crime punishable by death since it also means affirming the Jewish people's right to the other half of the Jewish homeland, which is completely unacceptable from the Arab standpoint. This is plainly stated in both the Hamas charter and the Palestinian Charter - nothing short of the ENTIRE land being CLEANSED of all Jews will suffice.
