Haven't seen anyone reacting to the first guy. His name is Alex Clare. He wasn't an observant Jew, and was a successful artist in the UK, at some point dating Amy Winehouse. At some point he became more observant, and rejected perfoming with Adele(!) because it meant desecrating the Jewish Sabbath. His song "Too close" became world renown, after Microsoft used it for their Internet commercial. Definitely check him out, has a very different style to all other Jewish artists.

Yet another fantastic review! I forgot how emotional this video was. FYI, as someone else mentioned, Alex Clare was not always orthodox, and was actually becoming huge in the secular music scene. He eventually chose his religion over his music career, despite the huge opportunities he could have had touring with Adele, as the record company was demanding he perform on Jewish holidays. He’s since released more music, on his own. Also, since you particularly liked Rivi Schwebel, check out “Shabbos” by Abe Cohen and Rivie Schwebel. Legitimately one of my favorite songs! Anyway, keep it up, you’re doing an amazing job!

The Maccabeats are an accapella group that came out of Yeshiva University, my alma mater. Avraham Fried and Mordechai Ben David are the kings of Jewish music. The guys from 8th Day (Shmulie and Bentzi Marcus) are Avraham Frieds nephews, Eli Marcus is their brother. Benny Friedman is their first cousin And also Abraham's nephew

Eli marcus is avraham frieds nephew. There's a live performance I think you would enjoy called "the friedman family legacy" including the Avraham Fried and his nephews benny, eli marcus, and 8th day.

This was beautiful! The maccabeats do some parody/acapella covers if u want to react to them, but there are so many singers in the video that have great music. Eli Schwebel, Eli Marcus, and Journeys would be great options. Looking forward to your next reaction!

Rivi and Eli Schwebel are father and son, and legends in Jewish music. I suggest checking out Eli's songs We Are One and Yagga. Also, that's a fairly standard size for an orthodox Jewish family. It's not unheard of in some circles for families to have 10+ children.

Isaac Bitton is originally from France. He wasn’t religious and had one of the top rock bands in the 70’s. He put out a cassette called raya mehemna after he became religious and was yrs ahead of the rest of the world in his music! Look him up and you will be blown away!!
