7:03 i was at jack's stream and jack's wife erin said "do you think she's the one that sent us menchie's?" (menchie's is a frozen yogurt/ice cream brand apparently) and explained that they got an order from them but they didn't order it themselves. and in sniperwolf's instagram story where she showed the front of jack's house she was saying "you'll have to come out anyway, you have ice cream on your front porch" so that's why I and many others believe that she tried to lure them out with a fake order, i don't think she would have known it was ice cream otherwise.

The thing is Jack isn't the type of person to make accusations without any proof, so even if she did, chances of him talking about it are slim (as was with the allegations that SSStalkerwolf was using a script instead of actually reacting to stuff). So let's hope he makes a bigger video after a while covering everything, because he is most definitely looking at a lot of the legal aspects of this issue before speaking out.

He doesn't go off baseless rumors and didn't even care about her past history when making his critiques. He only cared about creators not being credited and her earning millions from video and joke theft. People only dug up her criminal history and pulled out the recod book on her fake gaming videos and all that other dirt after she commited a crime by doxxing his home to millions. This is the first RU-vid drama I’ve followed closely and I’m glad it’s not going away. She needs to know the consequences of threatening those who critique you.
It's a 'drama' that quite openly has a 'hero' and a 'villain' because we can openly see what motivated her to go after him, and easily side with him. Normally it's a lot of "he said, she said" or "Big popular creator vs *The Allegations* " I guess you could say IHE vs Daddy Derek was a similar situation, only Daddy Derek was a lot more level headed than SSSniperwolf. Holy crud I just typed that Daddy Derek was level headed, I feel weird.
Unfortunately that’s not how it goes. Even some of the largest controversies are swept under the rug within years. What SSSniperwolf did was nowhere near as bad as filming a corpse (in the eyes of ToS) - and yet Logan still had a very healthy and active channel as well as multiple sponsors and partners.

Apparently it stands for "SexySexySniperwolf" from the days when she was faking being a gamer by narrating over her husband's gameplay. There's claims he was the one who picked the name, amongst other things, in the lawsuit he's currently running against her over the channel itself.
For real, when the drama first began, I gave the JJJacksfilms channel a watch, thinking it was just a repetitive gimmick channel that would get boring after an hour. I'm now binge watching the entire channel, and it's a blast. Sssniperwolf's content fits way too well for a bingo game.
Another highlight of my day gone. I actually began to understand why the stereotype of old people playing Bingo was fun. Except instead of a plethora of numbers, it's just a flow of predictable cringe.

I would rather someone say "yeah I doxed someone cry about it" than "it's not doxing if you can find their info." If someone says that they should receive an additional punishment on top of whatever stalking/harassment charges they get and it should be worse.
To be fair, doxing isn't actually illegal. Like I get cases can often be pretty reprehensible and should be discouraged but this feels like some big cancel culture memes with how rabid some people are getting.

This situation is literally making content creators reconsider alternative platforms like rumble. RU-vid literally wouldn't lose anything by banning sssssssniperwolf, her viewers will stay on the platform and spread out to other creators that are less of a legal liability than ssniperwolf. RU-vid is doing nothing but shoot themselves in the foot with this. I agree that standing by her was not a financially driven motive for youtube. Individual creators are meaningless as far as profits are concerned to this behemoth. I think youtube's error came earlier, though. They shouldn't pick and choose creators; they're bad at it and in any case what does it get for youtube as a company? If they hadn't backed her in the first place, jack wouldn't have got involved in the issue. And even if he had, they wouldn't have felt obliged to protect her. They trapped themselves by becoming attached to _yet another_ narcissistic fool. So you might be correct; banning her might make more sense but they really should detach themselves from the personalities altogether. RU-vid gets nothing out of backing "special" creators apart from headaches.
When all is said and done, content creators will be inspired by Jack's content and create amazing stuff of their own, while SSSniperwolf will fade into complete obscurity once a slightly more attractive girl steals her niche.

During the latest react-gate cycle, I think it was Act Man who suggested that maybe the owners of the original copyright should be able to claim the income of videos that steal their content. It would probably result in heaps of freebooters claiming her videos, but it would stop her from stealing content real fast.

Yeah SSSniperworlf reacted because it got under her skin and ego. but creators were reaching out to Jack about what they could do about their content being stolen, and Jack was basically starting to help organize a movement of creators who had their content stolen to copyright claim SSSniperwolf's videos. Leading up to the freakout, multiple of her videos had sections removed. Undoubtedly, SSSniperwolf wouldn't have cared about Jack's videos, other than calling him a creep pretty unsubtly in her videos, if it didn't escalate to hurting her bottom line.
I remember WAY back in the day finding sssniperwolf because i was/am a HUGE Metal Gear Solid fan and by searching the character Sniper Wolf i found a chick who dressed up like her and that lead me to sssniperwolfe. Thats all. Thats all i know about her other than my 7 year old niece watches her while she dances.

You don’t need to look at the “jacksfilm” part of her apology to realize it’s AI generated. Because you could immediately tell it was when she said “I will reach out (to jack)”. Like there’s no fucking way she would actually do that, especially to him. That’s a very common thing to include in an apology, so it makes sense why an AI would include that.

it was a clip from spiral, that saw movie with chris rock. it was a clip that showed how badly the "jumpscare" they attempted was cut in the movie, and it was its own video that was only 8 seconds. i think it was a problem cuz it was a clip from the movie, but it was only 8 seconds and didn't require the whole channel to get demonetized which is why adum is rightfully salty about it. there is a video on this channel where he talks about it if you want more detailed info on it, this is what i remember off the top of my head :)

As someone who was in a very hyperspecific niche of RU-vid creators who all got into very public spats whose RU-vid channels became a day by day diary of their demise as creators, this behavior is not unique to high profile RU-vidrs, it's merely more publicized.

You have to have some stuff of your own in order to exist, and space where you aren’t exposed to the elements, prying eyes etc. Opposing private property doesn’t entail opposing personal property, or privaCY- or at least doesn’t if you’re well adjusted. You’re still allowed a home where you can be safe. Personal property CAN be oppressive, but only in select circumstances, and not simply BECAUSE you require space and resources to subsist. (This chatter may well have been joking but this is a common misinterpretation)

I'm not sure if the person who said they don't believe in private property so they don't know if they should be upset about this is referring to the use of content she didn't make or the doxxing but I can comment on both. For the former, it is true that the earnings aspect of IP is a verycapitalist problem, but living under capitalism as most of these people do requires earning some money and it is wrong to take that away for personal gain, and even if there were no money to be made there is the issue of people trying to get the stuff they make out there, and not crediting them means that stuff is no longer connected to them so only that one thing gets seen. Artists make art and want it to be observed. For doxxing, a home isn't private property until you rent it to someone. A home is personal property and there is a difference. You can believe that you don't own the land that it is on, and that is reasonable imo, but the location where you live is personal information and yours to give or keep.
Now that YMS mentioned it I unironically think a big factor of Sniperwolf not being removed is they're worried about bad publicity over it. Like let's be totally real with ourselves here, only real RU-vid-brained people are gonna understand the ethics behind what she's doing. Your average outsider looking in likely will not care at all and instead view it from the most superficial lens of "guy harassing successful woman for being successful" which Sniperwolf would almost 100% lean into as a defense if she was properly punished. Add on the fact that old media regularly will take potshots at RU-vid at any opportunity and I can really see why they don't want to take any major actions over her.

I believe it was The Act Man who said that the main reason that RU-vid isn't doing any real punishment for her is because 1. they recently endorsed her and 2. that she is taking revenue away Tiktok and putting it on to RU-vid itself by "reacting" like she does. I disagree with one thing here and that’s the gender argument. I think the reason why RU-vid didn’t act on sniperwolfs actions is because she is tremendously huge when it comes to subscribers and viewers and RU-vid has invested in her as a creator by tweeting about her and what not. I believe that RU-vid would act similarly if a male RU-vidr of a similar size that makes the same type of content doxxed someone in the same manner as she did.

Young girls idolise her because she's pretty and makes millions with hardly any effort. She's living the dream, and in many cases they'd clearly much rather aspire to that than to actually work hard to get an education and potentially never earn even a thousandth of the money, and get none of the adulation she gets. The reason OnlyFans is also now seen as an acceptable vocation for girls of an old enough age is clearly a development of that mindset - loads of people paying you money and telling you how great you are while the money rolls in. I honestly think far more girls watch her than boys, even though the assumed response is always that it's boys simping for her. This is all helped by an increasingly narcissistic attitude among young people, where they are led to believe that you should believe in yourself and your ability in spite of any criticism, and never accept responsibility or accountability. The worst part about this whole saga is that it has reinforced the idea that you should be confident in yourself and your actions - because let's face it, Sssniperwolf got away with it, and RU-vid even blamed them equally in their response. RU-vid's response to all this has been almost as irresponsible as hers, as they have basically said 'you can do whatever you like as long as you're pretty and make money'.
Maybe its because I come from a different upbringing but this is really frustrating to watch. Where i'm from if you show up to someones place uninvited to "talk" someones likely getting hurt, or a guns getting drawn. I know how youtube is outright simpin for this lady, if Jack actually went to confront her and even mildly raised his voice at her for showing up outside of her crib and blasting where he lives to her followers he'd instantly be deplatformed.
