The dharr mann solution for stopping bullying by seeking out the poor ones, making them financially dependant on you for their survival and then using the implication of their debt to make them white knight for you. 😂
if I remember correctly, according to a collab that Dhar did with Cody Ko that I half-watched, he has the characters enunciate certain things in a very pronounced way so that people who don't really speak fully proper English can watch the videos easier. and of course, this alone helps expand his viewership massively.
And this actually make me feel disgusted, I wouldn't mind because is not taking advantage of anyone in that situation, but it's so superficial and blatantly obvious, looks more like a scheme to make money, and the real lessons to take from the videos are awful.
@@vjara94 If you're familiar with Dhar Mann's past, money laundering is the name of his game. One time he got charged 13 felonies for fraud against Oakland
The premise is painful. The script is painful. The acting is painful. The editing is painful. The blatant merch plug is painful. Thanks, Adam! I hate it!
The acting being as awful as it is is definitely a flex, like he's saying "Look how shitty I can make these videos and still make a ton of cash from them". I've seen some extremely bad community theater and school play acting, and none of it is as bad as this. You just *can't* be this inept by accident.
The thing that pisses me off the most about Dharr Mhan is that he uses good intentions as a shield for his shitty content farm channel. If he actually cared about the issues he's talking about he would spend more time refining the script and the acting of his videos instead of trying to pump out as many videos as possible to make the most money.
@@frankmerker630 it's a video about a kid who's a furry and he gets bullied by his amti-furry parents and Adam just shows up to sing be prepared with the kid. The parents are attacked by a rabbid animal and the story ends
@@frankmerker630 we discussed this, it will be a brutal 2 hour long John Wick style action film. At the end, Dhar will have to have a fist fight with Scoot to get to Adam and Scoot will do wrestling moves on Dhar.
The bully was not wrong when he said that she "just got lucky" because she did just so happen to be in the same alley as SSSniperwolf and that's what lead her to getting her own PS5 and giving her connections to becoming a famous streamer.
What's even funnier is that the chat can't be in slow mode because he makes all these posts in a minute. And we know it's not a small chat because she's apparently making money off of this, like enough money that she can pay thousands of dollars on a whim. So the only way the chat could be like that is if it's in sub-only mode and this guy literally paid money just to type "You're a fake gamer and you suck!" in the chat, lol!
That time 'gamer-girls' literally went to the UN an complained that people say "You suck" and "You're a liar" and came with a report on misogyny in gaming where references were blank or listed "C:\MyDocuments". After the big media event, the ridiculous report was pulled for correction, and never re-issued.
Has she even done any gaming content in the last few years? I thought she just does RayWilliamJohnson style 'react' videos where she puts on an unfunny mock-black person voice and goes "oh woah haha" at other people's videos, and then occasionally she starts a pointless fight with someone for Internet attention.
16:35 - Why is the girl an infinitely better actor than SSSniperwolf 😐 Why can't SSSniperwolf literally just convey basic empathy. Even if she was reading off the script, she could've read it much more convincingly.
Right? Despite given such shitty material, that little girl wasn't that bad with her performance. SSSniperwolf on the other hand? She should just stick to streaming.
It doesn't even feel like these are made for kids. These videos feel like something parents share with each other on Facebook (think moms who love The Blind Side)
The extent to which the script writer is disconnected from how real human interaction goes is baffling. Though if it was written by a kid then it's understandable
Dhar Mann just posted another video where these kids become janitors and everyone picks on them in a variety of ways. 1. They purposefully wait until they arrive to their table and dumps all their food and trash on the floor and laugh. 2. They knock over the trash cans and water buckets whenever they’re nearby 3. Literally just throw trash at them The video makes it seems like every single kid is like this. No exceptions. Every. Single. Kid acts this way. Besides, kids who leave their trash on the floor or table don’t do it in spite of the janitor, but because they’re lazy.
23:38 "We don't have enough money, there's no way he's going to accept that... We're going to have to pay him some other way." "What do you mean, mom?"
"When somebody hates on you, it's usually because they're unhappy with their own lives." True but I'm not sure if SSSniperwolf is the right person to teach this lesson. We're talking about a lady who made a career out of calling other chicks fake and yelling EXPOSED when they photoshopped pictures.
These videos kinda remind me of that scene from the Scooby Doo movie where they come across an instructional video teaching the monsters how to behave like humans.
Lesson: Money buys happiness and friends. Also how is the money gonna change the poor families life if Sam and Wolf only gave them enough money for one payment of rent and to fix the car? Like once they finish that they will still be right where they are financially. Like unless the boy continues to heckle Sam for money they are just gonna be in the same place they were eventually since if they couldn't pay rent before they can't pay it later unless the fixing of their car gets the mom like a new job automatically.
if only we knew what their situation was because depending on how long they have lived there they should have rent under control but I guess buying that "crappy" car would be one reason the mom is late on rent I refuse to believe that the rent is 1800 and they struggle with it unless they suck at budgeting their money
I like when the kid says "It's from Metal Gear Solid" and the subtitle's font is almost identical to the condensed font seen in some of the Metal Gear Solid logos.
"You see guys? Bullying is a very powerful tool, when you bully a famous 13 year enough she will eventually pay your rent. Imagine what else you could to with a power like that. Hey what's up RU-vid fam, it's Dhar..."
I like that he has the villains call his merch dumb, to villainize people who don't like the merch. You don't want to be like those guys who mock her and say she's not a real gamer do you? What an altruistic man Dhar Mann is.
@@belloutdoors5217 why would we be jealous of someone we wouldn't care less about? It has nothing to do with jealously. It's that she's a fucking hypocrite
Why does one of the bullies look fifteen years older than all the other kids? There’s so much more you can complain about but it’s what I noticed first.
The overlooked life lesson is that lots of people are just jerks and like putting others down because... they're just like that. Bring back the 80s bully! Also it's funny that the video with "cyber bullying" in the title actually shows more "in person" bullying.
@@bryal7811 Yes but still that's not a good message to give to a kid it's better to just tell them the harsh truth then plant false ideals in thier head that could harm them later
@@patrikmiles9342 Absolutely, but you also want to control went those messages are getting across and also when they're ready for it. The "correct" message can be harmful if a child is not ready for it.
Dhar Mann reminds me a lot of Daddy Derek in how you watch his stuff and immediately get the urge to nudge him and tell him about the rather uncomfortable implications of his otherwise well intentioned things, but then immediately realize that if someone did that, his content would be nowhere near as entertaining as it is.
I think on some level Daddy Derek at least believes that what he's doing with Cool Cat is a good thing for the world. Dhar Man doesn't care - he's 100% in it for the money.
If you told me that 6 years ago when Cool Cat was a thing, I'd likely agree, but given that Daddy Derek has only more or less spent those 6 years George Lucasing a movie he made 10 years ago and then making some bullshit short film about Coronavirus, the opposite is the more likely scenario. Hell, check out Highlight Daddy's video of Adum blocking Derek on stream
I hate how SniperWolf doesn't use any adverbs. E.g. she says "don't take it personal". Are we in a post-adverb society? And if so, I don't wanna live in it anymore.
Sniperwolf channeling Tommy Wiseau in this one. "Don't worry about it! Ahahahaha!" It's also ironic this is an anti bullying video considering how much bullying Sniperwolf has done to other ppl in the past lol.
@@YMSHighlights I know I'm 4 months late on this, but I just found this comment. Sniperwolf has a history of bullying and insulting women who have cosmetic surgery or even edit their photos on social media even though she's guilty of both. Which would be fine if she didn't harass other women for not being comfortable with their appearance. Her community also tend to do the same, and when they start targeting someone on Twitter or Instagram sniperwolf will encourage it. She's cultivated this environment of toxicity where women are judged for changing their appearance even though sniperwolf fails to hold herself to any higher standard. Nerdcity has a great video that can give you a better idea of her past and why she's so hated by a large portion of the RU-vid community.
21:26 Because of the fade, my brain automatically assumed that the kid just walked all the way back home due to his mom's car not starting. So that made it look like the girl and Sniperwolf were silently stalking him the whole trip. I guess that means my head cannon (if it didn't actually happen that way) is that Sniperwolf is teaching her muse to be a creeper as well.
@@michaelstrong5383 He's only been on the site for 2 years, he has nearly 9m subscribers and his videos average about 10m views each lol. The proportion of subscribers to views strongly suggests a degree of bot activity and/or algorithm trickery, but really badly made crap targeted at kids has always been disproportionately popular on RU-vid. If you look at the comments sections of his videos they're all extremely cringe, but they do seem to be sincere, real people. It's like that time 3-4 years ago when a bunch of dudebros really amateurishly messing around in Spiderman and Elsa costumes regularly got an insane amount of views.
Have you guys noticed that for all of Dhar Mann’s supposed virtues his videos seemed to always just get solved with money. Like he loves rich people if there is a poor person who is kind and is being picked on by a rich person they always get rich in the end and the rich person looses their money then they have to take pity on them. He has this weird power fantasy of rich people being saviors of the poor and it is really uncomfortable.
Shit, I thought they would publicly humiliate the poor bully boy by raising money for his mom on stream, but they just straight-up bought him. Expected too much from Dhar.
That one kid: Wow you bought the Dhar Mann merch you can buy anything That other kid: Anybody can afford it! Me: So, they are marketing not only how cool the merch is, but the bully explains how affordable it is also?
11:25 this is very deeply rooted in German culture It is a sign of common decency here to not talk about money to the point that many millionaires look just like the average joe If you’re not a soccer player you’re probably not going to be approached no matter how famous you are
that makes sense, I watched a documentary a few years back where a young man from a rich European family said how America is unique because most conversations involve the question "what do you do for a living?", "how much does that pay?". he said it was considered very rude and personal to ask those questions in his country, no matter the person's status
@@The-Khandor-of-Kalakuta hell, I'm down with that becoming standard everywhere, what you do for a living rarely says anything about what kind of a person you are
@Random Username it was a documentary about young wealthy kids, most of them American (like myself), but it was about how they grew up, the European guy may have been from Germany? he had a foreign accent, and English was not his first language
The "official" morale of "talk to your bully to solve conflict" while beeing there on paper is so ridiculously overshadowed by what is prominently shown as the real problem solver: money. If the girl was in the same economical situation dharmanns version of this conflict would have no solution...
I really hate the message of “if someone is hating on someone else, it usually means they’re unhappy in their own lives” no, it usually means they’re just assholes. It’s a message people say because they don’t want to imagine that people can just be douchebags for no reason, but more often than not, that is the reason. I have no idea why in our current time people have it in their heads that EVERYONE is a good person but circumstances in their lives made them bad. No, I reject this notion full heartedly. There are people that are just pricks and cunts, plain in simple. The same way there are humans who will be generous and kind no matter what, there are people who will be selfish and spiteful no matter how good their life is.
I think children in particular are just kind of vicious by nature. All of us probably did a lot of mean or edgy shit when we were kids that we wouldn't do as adults. I don't think there's really a lesson to be learned from that.
I get where you're coming from but I sort of disagree. I definitely think people are products of their environment, and that sort of determines what kind of person you're going to be. While I also think people have inherent personality traits that can't be changed with nature and nurture I also think that circumstances are super important. The problem with this video is that it doesn't properly demonstrate that. I think, at least.
Yeah I was going to say the same - props to her for being the only actor in a Dhar Mann video to give a well-measured and convincing performance. I thought the bully character was also decent in the scenes where he wasn't actively bullying the kid.
these videos have souch wholesome morals! like when you get bullied youse your massive wealth to solve the issue! and i swear its not just dhar mann projecting..
"But what I've learned is that when somebody hates on you, it's usually because they're unhappy with their own lives." Glad we figured out the mystery behind the DSP hatedom.
The conflation of moral worth with material wealth in these videos is the most American thing ever. This is basically a secular prosperity gospel sermon.
I wrote this on another video about this video, but the idea that someone would allow a child that young to stream unattended is fucking astonishing. And then encouraging her to read chat out loud? Like, who thought that was a good idea?
I kid you not, in one of Dhar Mann’s recent videos (spoiled girl demands car for her birthday ft. Sssniperwolf) Sssniperwolf is eating at a restaurant with the girl, alone, without the girl’s mom or dad or anyone else. Just the two of them
If Dhar Mann's videos exist in Dhar Mann's universe, that would mean the other SSSniperwolf video was uploaded in universe too. Did that little girl gamer watch herself in said video interacting with SSSniperwolf? There's a Charlie Kaufman-esque story in there somewhere about that girl questioning her existence.
I love how Dhar Mann thinks you can evict someone just by hand-writing them a note and giving less than 24 hours to pay up. This is set in CA, where the landlord has to give you the legal notice 30 days in advance, but we've already established that he grew up rich so of course he doesn't know how this actually works. And the $1800 cannot be 2+ months rent, so why are they being evicted over being late on ONE payment?
1:24 Its like the Gen Z equivalent of, "Hey you see the game last night?" I need to stop watching these. It makes me cringe so hard I literally lost my appetite.
Extra layer of creepiness about SniperWolf and the girl: the Psycho Mantis username. Yeah, I’m sure it’s a coincidence that you have a name from the same 1998 video game as SniperWolf. Sure, it probably came out close to a decade before you were born on a console two generations out of date by that point, but sure. Coincidence. Totally nothing creepy about this 15 year old girl and the adult friend that visits her at school and streams with her nearly every day.
It's hilarious how people think playing games as a girl will bring relentless harassment and insults But in reality (or atleast from what I've seen) guys will usually SIMP out and give you stuff for free lol to the point where I know guys who play as a girl character simply for the perks of getting free stuff Not saying it never happens, but the SIMPs vastly outnumber any actual harassers
@Muted Redead ah, understandable I was mostly just referring to my personal experience as a girl playing online games, but I'm probably just lucky It also probably really depends on what games you're playing too, like RuneScape people just give me stuff lol but they seem like a chiller crowd that lets say, a multiplayer FPS where some people get really angry over
Why do so many people in Dhar Mann’s universe have the most fragile egos and confidence? Like you could be liked by thousands of people, then this one dude comes along and says you suck, and you start having a mental breakdown and questioning your meaning in life. It’s like the entire world Population is Bipolar in this universe.
That's the thing, these videos are for kids but they're also not "for kids" because it's also kind-of for old grandparents and like the general Hallmark film demographic. Like the people watching this is literally the type that will unironically get invested in The Christmas Prince just to see someone else do well.
