Love the wet, slopping sound of Adam chewing/talking with his mouth open and full. It doesn’t make me want to puke blood and rent my clothing asunder and stuff ashes down my throat. Not at alllllll
Yeah it amazes me how oblivious so may creators are to how gross it is. Not to mention the fact Adum is autistic and so many autistic people have misophonia. He eats like a pig, he could at least move his gaping yaw away from the mic.
It's not just the fact that it's CG; it's something about the way that it's all stylized that's just incredibly off-putting. It looks like if Spy Kids 2 was trying to be a serious action film.
Usually when something looks "too CG" without it being something that stands out specifically, it's that the lighting of CG elements doesn't quite match the live action elements. I think we have that in some of these shots.
That's exactly the reason, the filming of fury road was a nightmare that had everyone on edge, so the only way to continue the saga is to avoid the awful parts, meaning more cgi. I like it, it has a comic book vibe I can't explain well.
Most of the action sequences are clearly CGI, like the spear gun moment at 3:19 and the movements of the car when doing the reverse turn right after, is awful. They are just sliding around, there is no weight to the movements. The lighting overall is just BAD
Damn. They just....straight-up copied a lot of shots directly from Fury Road. But with worse lens choices, awful CGI, really bad lighting, and pretty shitty VFX. I'm kinda worried.
Given how subtle a lot of the CGI was in Fury Road, it is disappointing seeing some of the shots in this trailer look as obvious as the CGI in Idiocracy’s rehabilitation scenes.
and Fury Road literally copied the whole truck chase sequence from Road Warrior, these movies are about cars and explosions, they're supposed to look similar
Honestly, not too stoked for this one. I firmly believe in the theory that all the Mad Max sequels take place in his head, because they make the weirdest comebacks to the first one (As well as destroy the car in all of them.), and this will probably destroy that magic. Also, it doesn’t look as good visually, which is a huge problem for a Mad Max film.
Agreed. If you eat like a pig, at least do it away from your mic. And if you're autistic, maybe educate yourself on the condition and try be considerate of the countless millions of people with misophonia. Especially considering a good chunk of YMS fans (and Olivia) are neurodivergent.
Personally, I don't mind the eating. In fact, it's oddly relaxing. I think just because it makes the tone of the video feel more casual for me. It's hard to put into words.
4:02 your follow up movies will see in Memorial Day of 2024 - Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga Joint - The Garfield “Lasagna Cat” Movie - Boredom of the Planet of the Apes Pick each one of them to see in Memorial Day, unless Olivia would’ve mind to see it.
in order to have a strong opinion about this trailer adum would have to be that kind of channel that analyses frames to interpret how this movie will fit into the lore
My first reaction to the trailer was "ew". The CGI seemed too excessive, and I just can't see Anya as Furiosa, but the more times I watched the trailer, the more I grew to like it. I doubt it's going to be better than Fury Road, but I expect it to be at least good.
Fury road had CGI, but it was only in place to service all the practical effects that the movie had. This just looks like CGI galore and it's honestly disgusting.
the trailer looks decent and im glad that furiosa is being made but the only question i have is "was anya originally casted for this role?" because it looks weird having a popular actress play furiosa when they could've just casted charlize theron again but touch up the face but, who knows, it might be a good film
Mad Max is one of the few franchises where there isn't a bad film within it imo (Yes, I like Beyond Thunderdome). So the fact that George Miller keeps trying to push the boundaries for this franchise takes massive balls especially considering the universal love for Fury Road and the majority of people feeling that Mad Max could've easily ended right there.
@@brandon_Larsen its in the Mad Max universe, all Mad Max films are standalone, you do not have to watch the first one to enjoy Road Warrior or Fury Road, so you asking for a 'fury road sequel' is silly, it wouldn't be a sequel to Fury Road specifically it would just be another Mad Max film about another group of survivors who meet a leather clad, sawed off wielding mad man, we get to see more of the apocalyptic world that basically started the whole trend in pop culture, let George Miller cook
@@thisbubblygoodness7611 Still not a *Mad Max* movie. A Sequel is preferable instead of a Prequel to Fury Road. Furiosa was a cool character in that movie but… I do not care about her Origin. I hope to God George Millers intentions aren’t to completely replace Max with *Fast & FURIOUSA*
Took WB 8 years to finally let George Miller make another movie, I doubt it will be as good as Fury Road I just hope that it’s decently successful for them to let him continue to make more Mad Max movies
Still not a fan of prequels in general. Do we really need a origin of furiosa? Isn't the whole mad max thing a post apocalypse Western (well after the second one)? I'd rather the a pure furiosa sequel.
Can you quit it with this premier stuff? Really annoying seeing these videos sit unwatchable at the top of my sub feed for 3 days when they're just more reaction videos. There has to be a better method for scheduling uploads.
0:36 should do react video of “IF” A new movie directed by Jim Halpert (who did A Quiet Place that Adam didn’t like the movie) and starring …Ryan Reynolds, Adam least favorite actor.
I don't like this girl, she doesn't have enough presence and charisma, OR physicality for this role. Maybe I'm bitter over the fact they dropped Charlize, she was heartbroken over it, too. She would've been great for this. Idc about her age, she IS Furiosa, not this little girlie.
@@murta Suspending your disbelief should not be a conscious decision made by the viewer. That's the job of writers, directors and journalists. They're supposed to make you believe the lie without even noticing it.
@@othertalk3313 Except you literally suspend your disbelief every time you watch a fictional movie... There are countless examples I could point to (including Sigourney Weaver, Linda Hamilton, every casting of Spider-Man movies etc.) of action film leads that don't need to be 'big' You incels just want to gatekeep casting of women so you can bring back the old 'boys club' Hollywood mentality, to help maintain your false sense of physical superiority - while I doubt a single one of you is in better shape than someone like ATJ.
Oh yeah~ i'm not straight in any way, but Linda Hamilton in T2 "did things" to me as a kid. @@murta There's just something about muscular, bad-ass, authoritative women that i just always loved.
I don't know the objective between YMS and Olivia, but some of these shorter empty reactions are kind of just as bad as all of that recent drama. I enjoy this channel a little less when it is filled with videos that are barely longer than the trailer itself.
Please don't let the toxic comments get to you, liv. Feedback should be constructive... Not this vile nonsense. I am in the party though that premier is not way. I want to watch, but only when they're available. I would prefer not to have these premier times littering the top of my feed. Thanks for all you do ❤
Such a shame it's physically impossible for a woman to get ripped and Hollywood has no choice but to cast what appears to be a stick figure to play action roles.
What is there to say? More CG, hare lip vvitch girl trying to be an action star, more driving around on a flat stretch of land in Namibia, shoulda quit while they had gotten back to being ahead. Oh and the trailer is in 4K yay. I hadn't seen the commentary on Twitch btw.
Oh a prequel. How fucking dull and boring. There's no tension. Chris Hemsworth dies or is otherwise disposed of... because he's not there by the time of Fury Road. Furiosa survives and loses an arm but ends up the bitch of a madman because that's where she is in Fury Road. Ok there you go I just spoiled the end of the movie for all of you. Can we please stop making prequels. They suck simply because they are prequels. If you're gonna make stories then at least tell them in the right order.
