@@bingdinggold1877 I'm 100% certain they put a different UI on top of pre-existing footage. Note that when they don't have full health, there's literally no black heart shapes to indicate maximum HP. They just deleted hearts in Photoshop.

The mom robbed their mail, destroyed it with her car, broke into their home and left the evidence there for them to find? She doesn't just look insane she is actually a psychopath. I mean everyone in their skit is insane but still, I can't believe a real life human wrote and directed this.
can i just mention how the conflict of the story gets resolved by someones mom and the protagonist is just gaming throughout the entire thing. very relatable for the target audience.
The diamond pick / iron sword selection thing is BIZARRE. I love the triumphant music when Karen shows up to apologize and put the PS5 on the ground, it sounds like it's from a mobile game ad.

my guess is they took two recordings of minecraft footage and cropped them to make it look split screen, then slapped on an image of a hotbar since the real hotbars would have been cropped out

They put epic music and had the kid look like they were trying extremely hard when the character was driving a pike to a lost sector. The person who recorded the gameplay was likely on autopilot during that part lmfao

Right? Hearing Adum talk about how they keyed it was weird when it’d be the best keying I’ve ever seen in a low budget video that ultimately still looks uncanny. It’d mean they have some rotoscoping savant working for them who then still couldn’t match the background lighting to the foreground footage. I seriously have no clue wtf is going on. Is it rear projection? There are a couple shots from different angles where the background matches the perspective really well (like, think of Neil Breen’s inability to get a single green screen bg with the same perspective as the foreground element). I just don’t get how this works.
Yes: notice when the camera shakes, like at 12:30, the background stays fixed relative to the "real" actors and sofa. If it were chroma keyed, it would've stayed fixed relative to the screen (it _could_ be motion tracked later... but that sounds like too much effort/skill for these people; same goes for keying everything without border artifacts and the like).

The way these types of videos have people commentate over video games literally sounds like AI generated brainrot. Also the scene where Bryce is trying to make fun of them is amazing, I unironically love it. Bryce looks like a full grown man and is talking like a 5th grade bully, and with every lame insult he throws at them they just roast him. It's a 28 year old man that was sent to bully two autistic Minecraft kids and he ends up getting completely destroyed without even making them flinch. It's fcking comedy gold.

They never had the correct number of hearts, if a heart is lost it goes dark not disappears. Then there's the footage not aligning to the selected item. Like how is it that they could've done it so much easier by just having one person play like 15 minutes with creative mode?
