Apres x nails is the worst purschase I ever made. All my clients hate it coz the pre-made tips are so uncomfortable, either too large or too small. I think I’m gonna try this technique now.

Apres X system SUCKS my clients hate them & I'm not very fond of them either. Its kinda hard to take a "one size fits all" gel tip & make it fit everyone.

William Pereyra fairly certain this technique was not invented by anyone on RU-vid or Instagram. This is the kind of technique that occurs to dozens of people organically and slowly makes it's way back to companies and internet techs.

You can use dual forms the same way, and it's pop off more easily. It only depends on the form of dual tips, you have so many different types so you can choose one that looks more natural and fits to your nail plate. This kind of tips sometimes stick to the gel and it's very hard to take it off, sometimes it hurts a lot.

zamis21 can’t remember exactly everyone that did this but there are nail techs on instagram that I’ve seen do this in their mini ig tutorials.

zamis21 just look up dual forms on RU-vid and you will see many many people do this exact same technique with both gel and acrylic. Dual forms habe been around for years.. there is nothing new about this technique except he used a tip instead of a dual form which is just a tip with guide lines on it. Disappointed they tried to call this a new idea and make it their own since I've had a set of dual forms for well over 3 years. You can find a bunch of tutorials here on RU-vid for dual forms though... dont know why they didn't check and make sure this hadn't been done already.

yes i have seen several on youtube but they all struggle to remove the fake nail from the polygel. his popped right off. so im here to see what he did diff. its might be a game changer to use an already shaped nail over dual forms

YoungNailsInc I actually stopped watching your videos all together because it always felt like I was watching an infomercial, and a bad one at that, because of the over acting and talking down to its like we are all stupid. Not to mention the know- it- all attitude that just pours out of both of you. But the biggest reason I couldn't stand watching anymore of the videos is the sheer number of times you guys have claimed something was a unique, new, or imagined by you technique, took, or idea when they absolutely were not. I actually couldn't stand that about your channel. You do it regularly and with no regard to people's abilities to check or know the accuracy of your claims and that bothered me more than the acting. I'm talking about things like this technique of using a nail tip as a dual form.. which any of us can look up on RU-vid and see had been done before you did it yet your title alone states "new technique" which it absolutely isn't. Amid this isn't an isolated case.. you guys know that. You've heard us bitch before in the comments about how your clearly labeled "new idea" or "thing we invented" is NOT new so you can't deny this and for that reason and the other the top acting...I can't watch any more of your videos, can't suggest them to others, and don't buy your products. But I am just one person so it probably doesn't make a dent in your overall gain so who cares, right ? Just wanted you to know why some people stop watching.

Exactly what I thought.... No, I am not a naughty child. I don't need to be talked down to. It's so patronising, especially the m'okay's. It got so bad I couldn't actually focus on what he was saying.... Anyone do a transcript without the capital letters at the beginning of each word? and without the 'm'okay's? I'd be grateful. Might work with subtitles.

Dual forms have such a high c-curve! I've tried every which way with them: more gel, less gel, no form underneath, a form underneath. I do just need to try a tip that works with my nail.

Tracy U check aliexpress pls. I found some grait dualforms in 14 sizes. I cant even use sizes 0 to 4 coz they are way to big for my nails.

Maybe it's an idea to play a bit with different brands of gel. I'm a newbie in this world but i hear from others that not all brands cause the same heat.

@boss - not necessarily. It's up to the artist's personal technique. But, if the free edge does end up a bit thick, simply smooth and even it out before curing. Greg's looked GREAT, not thick at all. He's obviously been working on this for a while. In fact, I actually prefer it a teeny bit thicker.

Yes, you always want to use synergy base as your foundation for hard gel.

I have done both. Just not put out the one with regular gel yet. Since I now on two weeks holiday it will be a month before it's up. Not sure if I bother now...
