My problem for the longest time was wiping off too much liquid off the brush too much and attempting to pick up decent beads. Honestly, no one ever mentioned how wet the brush has to be for a nice liquid to powder ratio.

Omg this tutorial 🙏🏻. I’m learning to do my own nails. I keep getting the product outside of my cuticle.. I can’t see it or notice it until it’s already hardened. I’ve been watching lots of videos to try and figure out the best way to prevent it. This tutorial is amazing !! The way you explain it, and showing us from different angles. Incredible! I’m so excited and motivated to try this out! (I just did an overlay on my natural nails , with acrylic glitter, I kept wiping around the sides with my brush, to make sure there was no product outside the nail & the hard part is, I didn’t see any acrylic on my skin. when I was done and ready to file , I found it. I was very discouraged and felt I just don’t have the talent to do nails ) I think your videos should be shown to everyone who is starting out, & in the cosmetology schools. You’re super talented at doing nails , and with teaching!! I’m so happy I found your channel, I am a new subscriber & will watch all of your videos thru my learning journey !! The BEST VIDEO, I'm not in school for nails, but I'm a truck driver wanting to learn how to do my own nails. I've ordered your Pro Kit already and it should be here this Wednesday, I've also ordered some of Valentino's acrylic powders. I've got everything thing I need to start off. Please keep teaching us. I tried my Mia Secret kit today for the first time and it was all bad because my liquid to racial was horrible. I will pick up again tomorrow while watching your videos on how to do this. Thank you, thank you, thank you for this tutorial!!! This is exactly what I needed to see as my acrylic is sometimes too close to the cuticle and then I'm rushing to keep it away from the skin. I've been using hard/builder gel for this reason but I have clients that prefer acrylic. Young Nails, you're the best 😉💗

Self taught here. I'm learning by my mistakes! I did another set today and pressed too hard at the cuticles. Now I have a thick cuticle area and bumpy / flat areas on nails. This video was v helpful. How many times do you think you tried to do a great application and fail? Some of us could use some encouragement! I keep telling myself to try try again. Eventually they have to come out decent! Ha!

Morning what size brush do you use. I use a 6 and a 8 and bought a 10 yesterday will i havecthe same effect even i dont have the same size like you. Does it matter which size brush you have to have control over the l&p ratio with the perfect bead.
