“How do two brothers get into the nail care business?” This is the single most common question people ask us. There’s a long and rocky version but we’ll give you the short one. Greg, the older brother, became a licensed nail technician after switching gears from fire fighter’s training. He jumped in a few years later; taking a detour from medical school and a life in music. He brings his own creative mind for business, marketing and strategy. Unexpectedly, we are a perfect team.

Greg you’ve taught me more about gel application than I could ever learn by going to a local beauty school. As a nurse who wouldn’t have any fingernails left if it weren’t for YN gel products (due to the super harsh products we use and how often we wash/use Purell on our hands) I thank you.

I enjoy watching your vids. Learning so much, gel can be hard trying to control due to my inexperience. What I need is more practice to the point that I'm comfortable controlling gel and achieve whatever look I'm trying to do. I also bought your gel kit for my grandaughter so that she can create her own nails for herself, and maybe even her friends.

What is the purpose of putting protein bond on after you already completed the nail? Are you suppose to do the same with acrylic?

Applying Protein Bond after the nail is completed is done for a couple of reasons. It smooths out and fills in any little scratches you may have from filing and buffing. It really increases the clarity of glitter and clear cap so that when you apply the top coat it's crystal clear. It also prevents any gel products, such as gel polish or top coat, from pulling away from the cuticle area or chipping. I love Protein Bond and it makes a big difference in the finished product! Hope this helps you!

Silk nails are not a product we carry, but most likely, you would prep just as you would any other enhancement (push back cuticles, remove shine, cleanse)

I'm sure that they entered you in the giveaway opportunity if you submitted your entry, but that's not a guarantee that you would win it. Thousands of people enter the contests and it's just the luck of the draw. It wouldn't be fair if they selected someone just because they wanted to win.....everyone wanted to win. I'm sure they use a computer program that randomly selects the winners from all the entries. Don't be upset or discouraged, just keep trying. 🤗🤗🤗
