Now this is the way lens reviews should be done! No faffing around with focus charts, comparing sharpness at the centre with the edges, just plain ‘does it take good photographs’ and ‘is it good value’. If I were in the market for a 50mm, I would buy it like a shot.

I like the ttartisan 27, 17, 23 and 50. but this is maybe a good alternative for the 50

Hey Booray, i have learned something new today, i haven't heard of this lens. It might be made of plastic but the image quality looks good. My Nifty Fifty is made of plastic and has great image quality. For $135 you wouldn't care if you dropped it, and this lens probably wouldn't break because it's so light. I am really impressed, thanks for showing us this lens. 😃

Does it resolve the sensor?

I appreciate lenses without aperture rings - using the back control ring instead - because the aperture ring on my 60/2.4 is set to stupid values like 22 most of the time, by accident!
