I didn't find this band it found me. Mike worked at a guitar shop that I frequently went to and he handed me his first cd from yob... He alao helped me purchase a pedal and was listening to me trying it out. He did a couple riffs in front of me.. Little did I know that his band would be going places... Mike is a really easy going guy.
All the fear All the pain Built within The hope and the tears To measure the worth To understand it Feeling what is fuels the change We're overjoyed feeling all right in our skin The apocalypse never felt so good The tyranny Built upon our philosophies Not for me In solitude again In this world we're living in I can't get no release It's cold outside in the rain When all is said and done Tell me what does it mean Feeling what is fuels the change All the rage Uncontrolled Useless treasures Rotten waste Shadows fall Into dust in me [repeat] Shapeless ether Quantum strain Human structures Confused and weak Create the plague Faceless hatred The race suffers Confused and weak World of chaos Floats in the void Formless lost Fed with destruction Fed with destruction Formless lost The world of chaos floats in the void World of chaos Floats in the void Lost in the void Welcome to the apocalypse Exaulted coming the death of regret Break the shackles the useless refined Rise upon the violet throne Cast the darkness to the wolves Never seen it Never before Achored deathless connect to the whole 10 billion eyes yet only one sees Rise upon the violet throne Cast the darkness to the wolves The catharsis the change from within Never will I follow Aeons old black hole devours the stars Empty hollow within Eating the pain Rejecting the soul The beginning of the end Rise upon The violet throne Cast the darkness to the wolves
Damn...And I thought I have figured out all great and inspirational bands, I have an tendency to miss one in the late. I feel bad that I haven't captured this great and spiritual feedback of a band. Great fucking band, I fucking swear...
They make the best mushroom music ever, before I was like just listening to the songs I really liked but the more I widen my view the more thoroughly I’m impressed. That “no distortion” version of marrow? Fuck yes this band
2:29 is as long as you can stand to listen to music huh? Radio has fucked us all up!!! Its too bad you have ADD. maybe you could enjoy all sorts of other things in life if only you weren't to anxious to move on to your next meaningless mundane task. ;) you should try listening to the band Moss. Your ears might start bleeding if you tried.
jr johnson no,2:29 is as long as I can stand to listen to THIS.Music listening is subjective moron. My other "mundane tasks" include listening to GOOD music-ssssllloooowwww hanging chords with no thought or imagination do not make good music(to me).If you enjoy that shit more power to you(and lay off the depressants)....
I don't take depressants and I'm not a moron. Besides this band isn't even depressive they write about eastern religions and exploration of the self. This style of music is no different in some respects to classical music. These slow hanging chords essentially accomplish the same things as movements involving many chords in classical music. Only it has the advantage of progression economy. I fail to see how that is lacking in imagination. Plus not all moods or states of mind can be described by poppy happy music that last 2:29. Open mind to new things or stop visiting pages that you don't belong on. I heard back street boys might get back together! I bet you super happy about that!
Listen up sonny...I've been listening (and living)to music for nearly 45 years now.I listen to everything from Phish to Mars Volta to 20+ minutes of Dazed and Confused by Zeppelin(you know who they are, right?)Like I said music listening is subjective-just don't attempt to school me on it mmkay?
