Yoda Is Exiled To Dagobah! (Deleted Scene) 

My understanding is George Lucas removed this scene as he felt it distracted from the main ending of the story with Vader/Padme and the twins

Lost it when George and his crew were saying "poor little yoda" 😂😂😂

It should have been left as it was in those few seconds we see here Yoda looks reflective as if he has lost everything and his task ahead appears to be massive. These little details matter in story telling.

Now all star wars people will wonder where the ship is now

If you look closely at yoda’s hut in episode 5, there are remnants of this spacecraft all around.

Yea we all know Yoda went to Degobah but Should've kept this in as it does go along with everyone else losing everything. This scene is so Poignant!

Upon landing he says: “a shithole this is.”

How come I seem to remember watching this scene in the cinema back then? I very clearly remember Yoda standing before the landing "staircase" from his ship.

When from living a luxury life in a skyscraper to living in a swamp Rags to riches in Reverse

And then just turned it into his house.

I feel like they shoulda kept this in, it ties in nicely and gives yoda a little finale

I would like to see a series about Yoda and his exile but then at the same time knowing Disney he would leave dagobah on some mission to save somebody from the empire 🤦‍♂️

So crazy that luke didn't tell the rebels about Yoda being there too

I wish Lucas would have never sold SW. I have never paid for a Disney SW movie since TLJ, and will never again!!!

Would be a perfect after credits scene if that was a thing.

The spiritual choose to be alone, to even die alone (as Yoda died while still in exile).

It wasn’t needed. We already see and sense Yoda’s pain, failure and other feelings that are shown in this clip in other scenes in Sith; in fact, we see that almost with the exact same expressions. We also know that he was exiled to Dagobah. Sith was an excellent film as it was.

Yoda exiled himself as he said he would.

I would have kept it in, only after the part where he meets with Obi Wan and Bail, would have also liked for them to add more to the part where he communicates with Qui Gon Jinn.

He went there because it is a planet where he knew that he couldn't be found as place with both dark & light places of the force

Im happy this scene wasn't included, I liked how not everything was explained in 4,5,6 I like some mystery and Disney is getting painful wity telling you every minute detail of how everything happened amd I'm pretty sure its not how Georgie would have seen things

I swear I remember this being in the movie. It must just be the Mandela effect. They should add it back in.

Whatever the reason, it's off-balance, because this adds so much depth to the characters and story.

It should’ve been kept in the movie, because the viewers assumed as I did that Yoda was dropped off by Senator Organa on Dagobah. I haven’t listened to the movie he could set up where Yoda does have a ship and he can leave Dagobah, if he had to.

It’s 10 seconds of nothingness, that’s why it was cut.

So an escape pod was able to land gracefully but an X-Wing was not? I mean it's not like Yoda was some great pilot.

The clip as it is, is pointless. If there was more time to explore the dark side cave, why he chose Degobah, or anything as it relates to Yoda or the planet, that would have been cool. But, we know he ends up there. We could assume he got on a ship, traveled there, and got off the ship without having to see it. That’s why he removed it.

Ok so this is confusing me first of all Yoda wasn't exiled to dagobah at all!!! He went there cuz he went into hiding and the force is extremely strong on dagobah first of all if the empire exiled him there that would me they would know where he was and forced him to go there and never leave that's what exiled means so I'm sorry but the title is inaccurate and confusing to me anyway so that is my opinion on this one however the clip or scene should of been kept in the movie that I agree on as well it's just something to show how everyone was still ok and for the moment safe in the end of the revenge of the sith..... Anyone else agree or disagree with me if I'm wrong witch I'm definitely not at all I'm a huge avid lifelong fan of star wars and I grew up with the original trilogy very young and everything since then I've been right there to see it and saw it again and again I know my star wars universe and history and everything else so I'm not wrong hope all is well to those on here btw peace ✌️

Actually,the producer of the movie thought that the scene was so beautiful that he literally begged george lucas to put it in but lucas thought that it was unnessecary

Great scene. Well , I remember when I saw this the first time. I bought the prequel trilogy off the clearance rack at best buy. With decisions like this one , I also realized how really crappy the prequel trilogy was.....

always thought yoda was a coward for hiding...he was soo powerful he could hve handled the 501st and anakin had he been there in the Jedi temple at the time of operation knightfall..and the inqusitors would have been a cake walk for him..if Obi wan could defeat anakin TWICE..once on mustafar and another time when vader was at the peak of his powers (Series OBI wan)..then Yoda could have easily defeated the entire inqusitorious fotress.

Another reason must be because it’s too ET!
