How has the ratcheting system held up? Worried since its only nylon and not a track that it will wear out faster. I am a bigger guy also so thats definitely a concern.
I've been looking into buying one on prime day tomorrow. My use is going to be a tad different though because I not only carry a pistol(Shield Plus), but I also carry a tool pouch on most days loaded with an impact driver, screw drivers, pliers, tape, ect. Hopefully when I get this I want to do a review. The thickness is nice, and I like that it doesn't look overly tactical. I mean I wear cargo pants everyday because in my buisness I do home repairs, landscaping, and general maintenance. I like to have at least my most used tools with me either in pockets or in my belt pouch because I'm currently a 1 man operation. If I bid a job that's an hour, I don't want to continue running back and forth to my truck because I don't have the right tool. I want everything where I'm in and out.
Thanks for your comment. I’m sure it will be sufficient. I carried a shield for a while and this Glock is considerably heavier. The ratchet makes it real easy to tighten up and slacken off as you need to. Just be sure to get it down before you put the belt on.
