This video is for people who hate yoga but have been advised to do yoga to alleviate back pain. It's a series of gentle postures to work the spine in different ways to stretch and strengthen the spine.
Part 1 is the standing series.
Mountain Pose
Sun Salutations
Passive Forward Bend
Crescent Moon
Standing Back Bend 1 and 2
Tree pose
Part 2 is the floor series.
Child's pose (knees together)
Baby cobra
Superman
Child's pose (knees apart)
Bridge
Reclining Spinal Twist
Savasana
As you can see, I am not that flexible so flexibility doesn't matter. What matters is moving your body to the best of your ability to help the body better adapt to changes as we get older.
