But is it not possible that since seeing the marsh wizard Andy has been hunting for the wizard ever since? Especially after being called a crack pot. Andy was the night watch, could it be that the location of the first sighting in 1906 is the same location that mrs. carington is building her new home. Soon as i heard Andrew Leman i would have demanded to know what Andy's last name was, and where the 1906 sighting took place. I could be wrong, but that's my thoughts!

Exactly (that, or I would have assumed, though this would be metagamey because it relies on knowing Lovecraftian writing, that Andy was the Marsh Wizard or somehow connected to him/her/it, and faked his death somehow)! They just brushed it off almost as if they didn't even know that 'Andy' was a shortened form of Andrew.
