YOLO v4 and Deep SORT with Low Confidence Track Filtering
Low confidence track filtering calculates the average detection confidence over a set number of frames and initiates a track if this value lies above the set threshold.
The white boxes are Deep SORT trackers and the blue boxes are YOLO v4 detections. Notice that with low confidence track filtering, there is a much lower false positive rate of tracks initiated.
Same settings used for all videos:
Detection confidence threshold = 0.1
IOU threshold = 0.1
Average detection confidence threshold = 0.5
