@@losuk8 Not really. She was the world's best because her skill were just that good, but those trickshots actually cost her many points or even games. As the audience though, we love to watch her play because of those shots, and I'm glad that she never afraid to perform them.
So close, yet so far - Ohori came so close to beating TTY. But, TTY, being the top player that she is, made some incredible shots to put an end to Ohori's pursuit.
Ahori did an incredible job bringing marin down and put up a great fight with the most Decoratied player TTY. It was amazing match to watch. I didn't have a favorite as I wanted both to win so much. Ahori lost but she was not beaten. Her heart is on fire❤️🔥
Aya’s performance shows improvement recently! But today when you have that huge leading in third game, you can’t stand there and do nothing and hope your opponent to send you to the final ! To be honest really hope Aya can make the final , anyway that’s a great match and hope Aya can do better in coming tournaments.
TTY showing so much class stayed compose, even Aya throughout the game delaying tactic so many occasion in between points, aya in the end does not show good sportsmanship. Congrats to TTY!🎉
Analysis of Ahori's game: She has improved greatly, mainly her speed and variety of shot she has shown in this tournament compared to before. Her other biggest strength I see is her reaction; she seems to have a quicker reaction than most of the singles women out there, so a flat/drive quick game I think would benefit her a lot more. Her attack now is also pretty good and along with her height, she should continue being offensive like she's been. On the subject of attack, she now also shown deception shots, so def continue adding that into her game. The things she could improve on is her basics -- there were a lot of basic shots that she missed that she should have gotten back. In both vs Marin and this game, she hit a lot of long clears that were completely out and cost her a lot of points. The margin was quite slim and if she didn't miss those shots, she would have won vs TTY imo. I could see Ahori being in the top 10 if she improves on the area I mentioned -- very excited to see her get better as I do like her as a player ^^
Aya Ohori is starting to show great form now and the trajectory is going upwards, after winning Asian Games Bronze and wins against Tty, Tunjung, Marin, Intanon. She can give a run for any players money. Cheers for more success
Japanese players depend a lot on their squad team and sparring partners but Aya-chan has struggled to work on her weaknesses for a long time due to the lone wolf syndrome, her affiliated team is more successful with the males rankings.
Ohori played terribly in the 2nd half of the last game. It was as if she was playing hoping that TTY would miss rather than going for the winners herself! Better luck next time!
0:09:45 Very refreshing to discover co-commentators stopped midstream [talking] when umpire was ready for introduction; resumed chatter after ~ 0:10:22. Unbelievable? Yes! Now only if this becomes standard procedure for all matches, esp with the other commentator.
Delaying when in danger.... this is such a bad attitude... i see it a lot at low level in France... from 8 year old kids ! some coaches are poor teaching...
Ohori deserved to lose. see! all she can do is attack backline, no smashing power, footwork is very poor indeed. also! she easily loses energy for sure. i dont know how she can beat Marin.TTY in final is more better than Ohori.
Try and play with Ohori if she is so bad. So easy to crotocose. The fact she beated Marin should give her some credit, it's not like Marin hit all shuttles into the net to make her win. She deserves some credit.
@@nikideshmukh7722these silly keyboard warriors don't understand that a top 20 player can't have "very poor" footwork. They always have to exaggerate for attention these keyboard warriors
Stop criticizing all the time and look for positives in life, it will do you a world of good and improve your nasty pessimism. Ohori won Asian Games Bronze and defeated a lot of good players like Intanon, Tty, Tunjung, Ongbamrungpan and Marin. So credit deserved where it's due
@@kanggepanyang1364u have to be calm! its a fact! ohori already tired n out energy starting half in 2nd set. once again! she really have to improve or else she cant win a title.
