They really are both great rackets. My groundies were great with the vcore but it can feel a little stiff and harsh at times. I went with Ezone bc I thought it had a more stable and solid feel, more comfortable on the arm.
Thanks for the review BST. With the added lead on Ezone it would feel more stable and have a much higher swing weight than stock, none apparent on Vcore, and as another person commented, the Vcore is one generation behind the Ezone you're using. Maybe ok for Ezone vs Vcore overall, not gen to gen. My last was a Vcore 98 Galaxy black, 305g with lead at 3-9, leather grip + overgrip, 330 swing weight. Loved that racquet, switched due to repping another brand, I've yet to find that overall feel and playability with my new sticks; getting closer. Bottom line, Yonex makes some of the best racquets in the industry, QC is unmatched so if you buy 2 or more frames they will be exceptionally close in spec. JC
Easy choice The Yonex Vcore Pro is a beautiful racket I have played with them all 👍 similar style to my old Pro Staff got a great deal £245 reduced to £112 with Yonex Poly Rev strings at 48lb Perfect racket 🧐
@@TM-vg4mx Definitely prefer vcore over ezone in terms of maneuverability, spin, control, and precision. However, as a recreational player, I am more of a agressive (maybe modest agressiveness at most) baseliner rather than a all-court player. In terms of serving, I found Ezone better than Vcore (easier to slice), but other than that, Vcore is my preference. It really depends on your style. I have both and I found myself picking my Vcore as a racquet of choice whenever I am in a social match. One point to note is that with Vcore, I found it more forgiving if I prepared a little late, I can still make a descent stroke with Vcore whereas with Ezone, if the moment is past, it's gone. Overall, Vcore renders superior controll, spin, and maneuverability with comparable power conferred by Ezone. Hope this helps.
Am I weird that I use the EZONE 98 Tour for only for singles, and the VCORE 95 only for doubles? I love volleying with the VCORE and return of serves with the EZONE
Thanks for the video! I have had the vcore 98 2021 for about 2-3 years and recently, I started having elbow discomfort...what kind of arm pain are you having with the vcore 98?
I mean, 97RF is already too much for sure. It's heavier than what most WTA players use, doesn't make sense for a recreational woman to use besides liking roger.
