Yorkie may hold her tail close to her body.
Estrus mating phase where your female yorkie will be receptive to males.

Urinating more frequently than normal (indicates her readiness to breed)
Less vaginal discharge, may change to a straw color.

Aggressive behavior towards other females.
Diestrus occurs directly after the “in heat” stage and allows your Yorkie’s body to either return to normal or develop into pregnancy.

Tips for a healthy yorkie cycle
Have a small bag with dog female supplies
Dog under wear, you can get this at any pets store or you can also use a baby romper.
Dog wipes
Dog diapers or you can get small pads liners at the store.
When your yorkie is on her cycle, be affectionate the first week.
Keep her stomach a little warm when you can
They will lose appetite, make sure they are eating
If you have a un neutered male dog keep her away, the last week of her cycle, well be very challenging.
Do not take her for a walk in the park, as bigger dogs can try to mate.
If you need to take her to the vet, take her in a create.
Yorkie's diaper or pad can be changed every 15 minutes to an hour, they do not bleed a lot but hygiene is important.
Keep her scent down by using
essential oils like lavender or mint
You can add chlorophyl to the water as well.
Do not spay her while in her cycle she is more prone to bleeding.
Track your dog’s heat cycles so you have an idea of when they are coming.
And my last tip is to be very loving with your Yorkie, remember that her body is going through changes.
