Important note for the reactability of the unblockable low launcher: while it is 26 frames, that is not equivalent to reacting to a 26 frame low that's blockable. Since you have to hopkick and that doesn't low crush until frame 9, you actually only have 18 frames to react to it.
You and JusticeSoulTuna are the only channels(that I know of) who dive deep into character specific matchups, and I wish there were others out there for other characters. Tekken is knowledge check the game, and these videos are a treasure trove of knowledge for intermediate players
I just decided to pick up Reina (previously orange asuka so its not like Im great to being with lol) These are helping me immensely and I thank you for your efforts. While there are many more specific matchups I could use help with.. If you ever have the inclination to cover the Eddy matchup thatd be amazing. Any time I get matched up with one I am so tempted to just alt F4 before the match even starts and we're still loading. I have NO idea what I'm supposed to do against him lol edit: i actually just noticed you do have a couple videos on him. time to study really wish I could lab against him without having to spend more money...

What I tend to do a lot to beat flash is b3 If they flash, they eat a 4 If they dont flash I can cd in and do either hellsweep, ws4 or cd 1 4/3 depending on the situation So that kinda forces them not to overrepresent flash and keep the situation a bit more honest If I see them not going for flash then I do immediate timings again, so it's a constant switch. Well done on the other options as well man! Defo implementing them!
I really need to practice that wr44 sequence at the wall, though the 3+4 followup seems to track less consistently to the left than to the right. He squeaked away from it a couple times into full punish with sideroll right. Thank you for the knowledge and match footage to go with it. If I had a request for possible entry, it would be for the Asuka matchup, please. I don't have any legacy experience fighting the character since this is my first Tekken, and she'll be getting a lot of buffs with the next patch. I just can't get over how safe most of her options seem to be outside of her slow low starters, so I feel like I'm missing something obvious that other people are already aware of.

Dude you stalking me or what? Just got my ass whoped by a local Yoshi because I hadn't figured out what to do with flash. He felt bad and wanted to change but I told him to stick with it, cuz I gotta learn eventually how to deal with that mind game. :D
i've noticed that a combo starter of crouching d/f+4, f+2,3 f, SEN 3, d/f1,1 doesn't connect vs yoshimitsu and other characters like xiaoyu, do you just have to give up the damage and go straight for a d/f1,1 from the crouching d/f+4? it's dropping me from about 81-ish damage to high 60s at most, if you've got any alternatives that'd be sick
Reina needs a ch move she is so bad depends upon condition i mean i am +6 and i am cancling my attacks against certain characters wth is wrong with reina the only character which is plus 6 and out here self in risk
as someone who literally only plays reina and yoshimitsu, i have to double like this video, lol. EDIT: also yes, full matches are sometimes just as helpful as guides, if not more. but to make those even more valuable, commenting important points midmatch maybe with sidenotes help newer players tremendously. but just adding matches after a guide without doing anything else, is surely an upgrade too.
His launching flash is okay. We get it youre on plus but he still put you on mind games. But why the hell his hopkick crushes high? Its hard to even jab check him. Pray that your character has a good df 1
@@seanbrown7083that's makes him toxic af. Because there are situations with no counter play option select and it's absolutely onesided he controls the game and it's you who have to play his own game. Even MC said that better just to eat his oki set up for example, his UNBLOCKABLE LAUNCHING low (wtf Harada) is rugiculous, he has stance that is unblickable. What is wrong with developers
@@Corleone300yeah, don't forget about follow ups he gets after his armor when you are tying to wake up SAFELY, ok with unbreakable throw with infinite amount of active frames and zero frames of recovery Reina has the same but tf his d3+4 I believe is heat engager tech that hits you for trying to just wake up after his armor. Harada what is wrong you, Reina to do such things as okizeme and folows ups has to risk, reminder than she can do nothing with wake up kicks that is safe now on her oki because her version of steel pedal aka cd3 is much slower and gets interrupted by wake up 3 and you can do nothing if opponent just spams it. It interrupts everyfthing. Harada-san of a beach, what are you doing fping on ur latina crush azucena or pleasuring ur chinese son feng?
Thx for the video. This matchup is aids, yoshimitsu is busted in this game and he completely destroys reina gameplan and keymoves just with flash and his spin.
