To be obedient and submissive to authority! Also, to be STILL! When things get rocky and uneasy for me, I MOVE AROUND QUICK!!! Im learning to be still and let him work things out for me.
God is doing the same for me, building leadership and confidence. It’s tough! But I know he doesn’t call the qualified he qualifies the called. I’m gonna trust him even if it’s scary when I don’t understand
I would like God to equip me with a mindset shift to fully trusting in Him with which country I will call home, the guidance I need in the industry I am doing my masters in, and for financial wisdom too because I have loans to pay, from my tuition debt. This is exactly the word I need today. I woke up this morning from a dream where Jesus had written to me on a notepad, "Just go. I am with you." I sensed He was referring to the job He has for me, which He has not yet revealed. When I asked Jesus what I should do to prepare skill-wise, His said, "Nothing. Don't do anything." Seriously?? That's right up there with when He sent the disciples out and told them to take NO food or clothing! What??? "Just go. I will be with you." When this video came up in my feed, I literally laughed out loud and couldn't wait to watch it. Thank you for sharing your testimony, Melody. You are truly an inspiration and encouragement. ❤🔥🙏

Satan wants us to give up whenever we are faced with challenges. Jesus you give me the courage I need. As I’ve been struggling to support both of my children both are special needs. Being a single mother with two children on the spectrum things are rough on me especially since suffering a heart attack two years ago and my on going battle with lupus. I’m overwhelmed at times. Jesus help me as I struggle to pay my rent and as I struggle to buy groceries. I have faith you will get me through this hard situation. I will Always praise you even in my darkest hours.
This was so good. Quick testimony- I was in the Beauty Industry and loved all thinks Makeup- God out of no where prompted me to do more meaningful work and opened the door for me to do Intensive Case Management- this was a crazy detour because I was on my way to my dream. Anywho after 5 years of service in Case Management both of my Grandparents became ill- and because of all the training I received on my job I was able to properly care for them as they transitioned. So many circumstances that would have rocked my world (and still did) I was able to react promptly because I knew what to do. God is so good and intentional. I am looking forward to God equipping me as an Author and a Wife in Jesus Name.
I once listened to a podcast where the host said “life is to be lived forward and understood backwards” and those words have stayed with me ever since. In recent years I’ve really had to learn how to fully let go and trust God and this video is just the reminder I needed. I found out that some of my bills are increasing today, and given that I still have practically no furniture that’s massively messed with my plans to furnish my place and I just felt so annoyed and disappointed. But I’m choosing to trust God to take care of my needs and provide for me as I go along. It’s not easy, but I believe that I will look back at this time in a year’s time and be thankful for this journey because I know God has a plan for me.

This video was so timely. I opened RU-vid after spending time in prayer and had expressed how the wait at times can be discouraging, because although I do believe I'm being prepared, I don't know the WHEN or HOW as I wait for my breakthrough. Thank you for reminding me to keep going. I am believing in God to equip me through perseverance and the relationships that remind me of God's faithfulness.
I have felt this exact feeling. There have been so many times I have doubted what GOD is calling me to do but God has reminded of Jeremiah 1:5 . "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” God knows everything about us. So, all we need is to act according to His will.
For me, God is equipping me in the areas of leadership, and confidence. Here is my testimony: Just two days ago we were at church with my parents and siblings. So normally I have stage fright, but because I am listening to you and other Christian RU-vidrs, it is different at church. So the music director at our church asked me to be the chorister. I then quoted this verse as I walked to the stage: Joshua 1:9. I managed to stand in front of the church and sing confidently without feeling nervous. It was all different. Without God I wouldn't have managed to overcome my fear/weakness. I lead out the praise and worship session beautifully.
WOW. I rarely comment on videos, but I literally had to today. On March 1st, God instructed me it was time to leave my corporate job of nearly 3 years. Now I've been reminding Him pretty consistently that I definitely WANTED to leave 🤣(as if He didn't know), however I had this perfect pretty picture in my mind of how it would happen. So I really wrestled with the instruction. "But God my side hustle isn't profitable yet," "But God how am I going to pay my rent?" "But God what then?" And He's just been patiently reminding me that I will see His goodness in my life. So on March 4th - yes, yesterday - I put in my 2 weeks. I don't know what the rest of the staircase looks like, but I'm trusting Him in this next step. And I'm scared!!! But I'm doing it anyway. So to log on and see THIS video??? A confirmation of what He's been telling me: he will equip me to do what He's called me to do! God!!! I hear you!! Wow, I'm so emotional but I'm keeping the faith. Thank you Melody, for continuously being a mouthpiece for the Lord.
I’m believing God for financial freedom. I’ve been working for years toiling and unhappy with every job I’ve ever had. I never had the opportunity to be a soft woman FREE to live without the bondage of going to dead end jobs working around unethical practices and people. I’m also believing God for a financially stable strong husband to take care of me. Tall order but my GOD IS BIG! Believe with me Melody and pray 🙏🏾 for me daily. I understand how you feel trust me!!😮. I lost my job last April and have been looking for one BUT I can honestly say that God had been providing and caring every step of the way. Like Melody said we don’t know how God is equipping us to do more than what we think but He does! I will continue to pray for you as I know God is leading and guiding ALL of us! Not because we have to do anything but because He loves us. So I encourage you to not trust the resources God gives but the Source! Stay encouraged!
Same here, but I have to file a lawsuit and I understand why all this happened because God did lead me to this job in the first place. God wanted to teach me how important it is to not get distracted from evil people and to be more careful with my future profession. I need to learn to be more careful, not to befriend people who are looking for my friendship because most people just want to take from you. They see your peace and are super jealous. But I also got the balls to wear a cross necklace at a workplace full of Muslims, mind you I had no idea that they were all turkish, during the interview they said multicultural environment. Well of course they didn't liked me there lol. But now I have finally time to study for my finals and I will never have to do these call center jobs again.

I have been struggling with the thought that I’m not living out my purpose in my current job. However I have felt like I am stuck here and not capable of being successful in any other role. I now know that’s the devil feeding me those lies. I am trying to pray for God to take me out of my current role into one that makes me feel like I am doing Gods work more. This really spoke to me! I’m starting a business after being laid off my job 4 days before giving birth to my son. Although the situation wasn’t the best, I immediately felt peace that surpassed all understanding. I knew God was telling me this is my chance to finally pursue entrepreneurship full time! I am trusting God through this entire process. He hasn’t failed me 🙏🏾

This could not have had a better timing for me. I have a job interview to be an RN this coming Monday. I feel like God has equipped me for this moment, yet I am so terrified of messing up. Please pray for me that I have faith and obedience to God. I want to surrender to His perfect timing and know that whatever happens is God's plan.

Ok, are you me or I am you? I am/was experiencing the same scenario. I was dreading going to work, yet I kept crawling & climbing waiting on the Lord to guide me (for 20+ years) and I felt the Lord directing me to something else, but trying not to lean to my own understanding, I kept crawling back until it ended altogether. So I am now “searching” for next, when God says “right here”, this is it. I know he is in the situation (says Jonathan McReynolds) because I am sooo much more at peace and knowing He has already given it to me, I just don’t know what or where. But I will “Stand and be unwavering” in my faith that He will never leave me nor forsake me! Pray with me as my 2nd, 3rd, 4th etc.
I got baptized December 2022…in January 2021 my husband had surgery for flesh eating bacteria…was told he had 8 hours to live if he hadn’t come to the hospital…this week in my YouVersion Bible app reading plan I had to read Philippians 2:27 ✨ I could have written this passage 🙌 God is good…there’s always a plan…hubby has never been healthier

I just had my second daughter in June 2022 and my oldest was 2 years old. After leaving an abusive relationship, and without a village we became homeless. On Good Friday that year, I gave my life BACK to Christ, surely he can do this better than me. Gods been equipping me ever since. We are homeless but we’ve been blessed.. praying we are waking in our purpose soon as God is showing me so much in this season
Thank you for sharing this beautiful message with us. I believe the Lord has been preparing me to be a nurturer for my future children, husband and close community. I've been a respite foster carer/ mentor for youth, worked with adults/ children with disabilities in school, care home and hospital settings. I've done therapeutic work for the elderly and stoke survivors. Occupational therapy for adults with mental health. Latterly cared for my late grandmother and late father. Now supporting my Mum and helping her run her business as well as my own. I'm praying the Lord blesses me with my own family to pour out love to ❤

God really put this on my feed today. I’ve been struggling so much with my cooperate job knowing my heart is craving something different. I will just keep surrendering and trusting in Him.
I’m a student chair organizing an international conference and I am having to lead a large group of students to the victory line if you will, a successfully run conference. It’s scary but God has given me amazing mentors in my professors and friends who help a lot. I know it will go well but there’s something else. I want to study abroad before I graduate with semester at sea and I just don’t know if God wants me to go or not, the time is dwindling down for scholarships and I’m still waiting on the Lord to show me if I should go. This will be my last chance for a while ( in my eyes) to go on this voyage but I’m waiting on God’s guidance. If I go I will miss the conference I’ll have worked so hard to organize.
I’m starting my business for a second time and I’m walking by Faith and not by Sight. I am a dance fitness instructor my business is Bottoms Up Body Fitness and I’m trusting God with it all

Amen! Thank you for telling us your story. I believe God is equipping me with strengthing my confidence in speaking in public. I am confident in myself overall, but I get so much in my head and second-guess myself. I pray about it a lot.
In a job that I don't really like but I'm faithfully serving coz I know God's equipping me for bigger through where I am now….and his word is true that I'm going to be a unique entrepreneur. I pray that we never forget that nothing is permanent and that God is faithful and always gracious.
To answer your question in the end .. I guess “now”. I’m a nursing student, 3 kids & separated from the kids dad. He doesn’t do much.. like 5% help w the kids. I was actually homeless for a little bit living in a shelter w the kids .. my engine died on my way taking them to school one morning .. long story short. Which meant I couldn’t work as my job required my car. So I had to sit …broke … very broke. And now clinicals are starting in a few weeks and i have NO idea how I’m gonna get there as far as transportation but He’s carried me a year & a half thru nursing school so… I’m praying and trying to maintain my faith that SOMEHOW, I’ll Be back into another vehicle so I can finish school. I like to say “he didn’t bring me this far to drop me off here”… but … what if my passion for mental health nursing isn’t what He wants me to do & He may just allow me to be dropped off here? 😞😞 sometimes having that faith is difficult

Well I don’t make it a habit to comment on videos but this video moved me to tears and idk why? For me it’s working in a corporate job where I’ve had a manager make my work experience stressful but also I was scared to ask for help and felt like I had to figure things out on my own. Long story short I got put on a PIP after expressing how my manager making me feel and I called my dad and we prayed on the phone bc I really felt like I was being attacked. I kept seeing the scripture “the Lord will fight for you, you need only be still” I kept job searching and couldn’t find anything, and I am going back to school to get a MSW degree. So I stopped looking, I tried my best at work and things turned around for me. So much that the same manager complimented my work. I still want to leave this job and pursue something that aligns with getting my msw degree. But things are looking up and of course I thank God bc it wasn’t my doing. I guess after seeing this video it confirm that God is ordering my steps but at the same time idk where else to go considering I still want to leave this corporate job.
I am looking for the lord to equip me for my next job. Don't know where but I know I have asked him for my new job. I pray he equips me in leadership and how to do it without fear.
I truly have to say in my career! I am in my last semester of college!! 🥳 and I just had a interview for a upcoming show titled Winning Her Way for women college athletes as a social media specialist. She informed me that with this position I would be seen as the CEO and have people work under me. This is truly a dream opportunity of mine; just deep down in side I feel unqualified for it! But I am truly trusting in God through it all and understanding that he will prepare me for the position!😌

I kept questioning way in life today and I just had to watch your video the lord had answer in this video for me feeling stuck confused abs unsure of what my life is to be I just don’t want to fail my son before he’s able to understand everything (he’s also 2) I’m going to keep calling on the lord until everything starts to make sense.

Hello Melody 👋🏽. I believe he is preparing me for some form of a greater purpose! I sometimes wonder if what I believe is true because I have not seen any physical results yet. I have believed this for about 5 years now! However, although I have not seen the external growth I have seen a significant amount internally! I think before I do things more than before, I consider his will over mine more than before, I speak from the spirit in ways I sometimes don't even realize until after I've spoken. Moreover, I can't help but get discouraged at times and wonder why things are taking so long!
I’m believing that God equip me in my next chapter in life. I’m almost done with graduate school ( fall 2025), i just quit one of my part time job, if it’s in his will taking content creation serious.. etc lol . Instead of worrying about everything I’ve been praying and giving it to God. I know he’s preparing me for a breakthrough

Just the word I needed today! I can definitely look back and see how God has equipped me through some past experiences that weren't my favorite 😩 but they were necessary for me to be prepared later! I'm currently in a chapter where I feel like "how on earth is this going to work out God" 😭 I know he's equipping me despite feeling uncertainty. My challenge is to remain faithful, to not let my doubts rule. God's will be done here on earth as it is in Heaven🙏🏽🫶🏽

I actually just found out about stripe while working on things for my business yesterday and didn’t know what it was 😂 so thank you for answering that question. But honestly yes this was awesome I’ve been asking God when and sometimes feeling really discouraged at my current job but I know He hasn’t released me yet and that He just showers me in revelation and equips me at my job in the most peculiar and beautiful ways. I look back on my life I have a pretty similar testimony of looking back at jobs I’ve done where I see how He was preparing me now for my business and ministry through art. It’s really incredible how sovereign and so patient God is with us when we’re keeping Him at a distance. He is faithful to pursue, woo and sustain us and that’s the real, real.
