Geez now my DT list is growing yet again. As a DT employee I always looking for all the great items you show and this video yet again is growing my list. ❤
Thank you for sharing these ideas, Shannon! I would not have thought to use these items this way. I love how you mounted the ones in your cabinet for earrings. Genius! I’m going to DT tomorrow! I’m so excited to try these ideas. ❤
Your dog is just like my daughter of 6 years! She hates doing anything with her hair, so now before school started she had it cut of and she looks like a wonderful little girl from the sixties, couldn't be happier now. But I love all hair cute things, always had braids growing up, and I only have two kids, the first a boy :D Well, well, lucky I can draw cuty stuff. Great ideas, must try!
Use Washi tape around the tea light candles to dress them up 😊 it’s the perfect size for it! I’d love to make a care kit for my car but here in FL the heat destroys anything & everything left in the car. 😢 That’s a perfect size container for it tho 😊
OMGOODNESS! I think how you took the clear medicine containers and velcro them on the inside of the cabinet is BRILLIANT 👏. I've been watching you all day Some I've watched more than once. I love your ideas . Your getting to be my top 3 favorites. Keep the ideas coming
Can use the 1st organizer for office supplies: paper clips, binder clips, staples or for sticky notes, sticky flags, notebook tabs. Could also be used for lip gloss or lip stick and other makeup
I haven't seen the matchbox car organizers yet. I'll BOLO for those. I live in a 93 year old house with a tiny bathroom, a small kitchen, and abysmal storage in the other rooms. I need all the space saving hacks I can get.
Also I saw a story a few years ago about a guy that had batteries stored together in a junk drawer start a small fire. 😮 I think the 9 volt ones were touching the ends of other batteries. So definitely have separation between the ends. My MIL would store small disc batteries in a pill bottle with tissue paper between them for fake candles (I think). She's passed & I've kept them like that in our battery storage. My boyfriend was in the military & we store batteries in an ammo box (my dad did the same for years & he's a military vet too 😅). We do one layer upright then use the battery packaging to lay more on top in straight lines & I put the pill bottle of disc batteries in there too. This also keeps the pets out of it. Parents of small kids might want to lock theirs up, small batteries can be a hazard.
@@janelandry6584 The original packaging is unsafe, according to experts. Once a few batteries are removed from that packaging, the others can roll & shift around until terminals touch. Leave them in their original packaging if you want to risk a fire. Especially if you've tossed the open package in a drawer that is opened and closed on a regular basis. Very dangerous. The safest way to store batteries is in a plastic container that keeps the batteries from loosely rolling around, which prevents the terminals from touching....whether they are stored horizontally or vertically. That's why containers specifically manufactured for battery storage are plastic with compartments or dividers.
You can use rubbing alcohol and a scraper from craft section at the dollar tree to take off the weekday ink on the pill case, i've done it and it's so much more aesthetically pleasing. I did use acetone on the 7 day clear pill case one with the one letter wkday ink in black and it worked perfectly without actually leaving that noteworthy acetone stain. So that might work for that one too! ALl of these items are at dollar tree as well :)
Bella is so precious with her pink 🩷 bow so precious! Really great idea with the hot wheels container. Love the pill container with earrings such a great idea! Really great video!
Really cute ideas! I wish I had seen the countdown box idea before my grand daughter had (finally) perfected her potty training skills - it would have alleviated a lot of head banging and misery - HA, HA!!!
Great idea for using the matchbox car holder for votives and batteries. I'm always looking for better ways to organize and this will give me more space for other clutter. If you have any space saving ideas for votive candles, tapered candles or lightbulbs that would be wonderful as I have an excess. Maybe another video you can point me too? Wow! Defeating clutter one step at a time!!!
I looked in several dollar tree stores over the last few weeks for that pillbox organizer but never found it so I ordered it from Amazon. I wish all dollar tree stores carried the same items.
@@shannonskiptomylife I watch several dollar tree channels and I make a list of the things I’d like to try. When I’m out of town I always look for the dollar trees and stop, lol! I’m going this afternoon and see if I can find the organizer on the toy aisle. Thanks for all the ideas!
Definitely using the contact lens case hack next time I travel. I traveled a few weeks ago & used an empty medicine bottle for my earrings. The contact lens case is much better. Tfs❤
So glad I came across your channel. I use a lot of these hats, but I had no idea there was bigger boxes in the toy department will definitely be on the lookout. The next time I go to dollar tree. Definitely going to be a new subscriber. Can’t wait to see what else you have in the store! I could definitely use a lot of organizing tips for crafts and household and the dreaded junk drawer… Lol great video :-)
Use boxes for beads...and love small contact case for lip balm or coconut oil...??? Have tons of similar boxes in different sizes, will condense contents (beads) and now use for other things..thanks 🎉😂😂
I've got both of the daily pill holders & use them for vitamins. Sadly they're both cheaply made & don't always stay shut. I had vitamins all over the place, so be careful if storing small items! 💜
JUST SUBSCRIBED & hit ALL notifications....I am new to yr channel but am enjoying all the cool ideas. Big LOVE from Southeast GA 🍑!!! Looking forward to the next vid I get. Lynne
I have never seen these in my dollar tree. I was looking for them for their actual use because my nephew likes hot wheels so I wanted to have a few around for him when he visits
I have a round pill holder. I put Advil, Imodium, pepsid, Tylenol, aleeve, Allegra, ect. In it. It's not the one you showed. I put in in a baggie and carry it in my purse.
Please, under no circumstance should you leave medications in the car. The extreme changes in temperature can impact the medicine’s effectiveness. Medications should never be stored in the bathroom for the same reason. Also humidity in the bathroom can negatively impact the effectiveness of the meds. Thx
I used the little paint mixing jars to separate and store my earring backs as I have 3 different kings. Then stored the little jars inside a wire 3 drawer stacked chest.
0:51 just be careful Using these for small items as there’s that hole in the bottom by one of the corners i wouldn’t recommend it for organizing your beads lmao 6:35 i see them bright pink finger protectors lol those are sooooo expensive on Amazon lol
