I re-watched, and I loved how the men stood up, straightened their jackets, and stood tall. Complete respect. I also noticed they didn't applaud, but for one younger boy. I loved that! They were taking it all in, while most of the women were clapping.

Don't! You would cut yourself badly if the glass breaks. Instead wear enough protective layers under the dress to stop any shards from cutting you, and some really gripping white sneakers to neither slip nor crack the glass. For the groom, rubber souled black leather shoes go better with a black suit.
