Give the VR mod all the support it needs! If it gets enough polish you have to include it in the core game! VR is short on tactical shooters, Onward is still somewhat nerfed from the Quest update, Tactical Assault VR is excellent but smaller scale with simple visuals, and Geronimo has no release date.
I'm pretty sure that is a UEVR injector by Praydog. I don't know why they say that is a mod by Vehlaw... It literally says UEVR_HarshDoorstop on SteamVR window... There are already profiles that work much better that what is shown in the video. He is even using the wrong mesh to control the gun, the bullets are not going where the gun is pointed...
Having a PR style game in VR would be amazing. I've had a tonne of fun playing Pavlov's large scale maps, and those are simple in comparison. Especially if OHDS had support for cross-play against non VR and VR players. I'd be curious to know how the balance would play out cause I've never heard of this yet.
This is getting pretty cool. Only thing I would say is extremely needed is a sound overhaul. It holds everything back, in my opinion. We watch the trailers and clips and get so excited, but when it comes to the actual gameplay, the sound quality doesn't match the quaility of everything else. I know it's in early stage of development, but I think with better sounds, people would engage much more in playing and keep playing. Maybe something to consider. Anyway, great work from you guys!
This video makes me wonder if the Workshop will ever have a featured mods list. So if you post a highlights video like this, we can also find those mods easy.
I totally love this game with a passion. I was considering purchasing arma 3 after purchasing squad then came across this game. After I had played this game I became addicted I Immediately refunded squad because I wanted to switch over to operation harsh doorstop as I feel its f2p and feel as if there is more passion behind this project with no micro transactions, absolutely my milsim game im going to play from now on.
@Bluedrake42 it would be awesome if you guys could add controller support to the game, i play my games with a controller because im disabled, i tried the game with a controller emulator but for some reason doesnt work properly the translation from the mouse to analog. Please people vote so he can see it.
The game isn't quite there yet, but there's definitely good progress. My big turn off is the fact that there is no team communication during the games in any of the videos i´v seen.
@@pereira1252 Why not play squad if you want ultra realistic communication? In my opinion what makes this game enjoyable is that it feels like squad but you can casually play without communicating
Game is awesome dude! Runs so well. I think the only thing that is missing is being able to check how much ammo is in the mag and being able to turn your head to check your surroundings. Also, can you add a region tab to the servers?Keep up the good work though 👌🤙🏽
I really hope VR will either get official support, especially if it supports proper physics and interactions. This could easily become the best large scale VR shooter out there.
Question. Can you arrange a game dev tutorial for your game? It would be cool to include 40K factions and races. It would be cool to include robots. It would be cool to have Titanfall mechs or other mechs. How about tanks? How about some future armor and weapon designs?
It has place for everything as a mod. Not in the main game. But as a mod everything is possible. Also each server can put whatever mod they want even fantasy mods. In this game everyone has freedom to play how they want

Continue to be blown away every update video for OHD. It’ll never stop being impressive how you and your team and the community made this game a reality and how it will only continue to get better and better as time goes on.
NICE! The VR mod will be interesting... Hope he can fix the projectiles not fire off correctly, as they were hitting the wall next to the rifle. BTW! It's not really a VR mod. The guy is using a injector called UEVR, and it's free to use for any game made in Unreal. So don't talk him all up in the clouds just yet. He has not done any real SDK modding for this, rather launched a software called UEVR before starting the game.
The ralley points and zoom in for all guns needs to be added to the base game asap. It’s makes the gameplay 10 time more engaging. I get extremely frustrated on vanilla game modes not being able to set up a spawn near a flag or be able to zoom in to verify enemies.
It's developers like you Drake that make gaming fun again. The fact you built a game, give it away for free and say to the community "Here you go, now go ham and show me what you can do" is awesome.

The game is almost there, but it doesn't feel quite right yet. Glitches need to be weeded out and the animations needs some more perfecting. So far, I'm really really impressed. OHD isn't merely a game, its a tactical sandbox.
Add Quad Views foveated rendering to your VR mod, there are currently only 2 games that supports it. It would bring a lot of attention from the VR crowd.
I have neen thinking on really cool ideas to maybe make the experience more immersive. However, I'm worried that these ideas may be too complicated. One of the ideas to make some vehicle interactions could be animations to enter and exit the vehicles and for helicopter, you can walk in and when you look up you can click or press E to hold onto a handle or to sid down. Great work guys!
Just started playing this game on single player dude and absolutely love it. I also really like that you don't "cancel" any modded faction that is added making the gameplay more realistic too :). Do you have plans to release AI bot updates this year? As a single player main, that would be huge!
This REALLY needs flag layout (mission), weather preset, time of day preset options on map selection screen. The options are there but there's no UI to control it atm.
PLEASE give us better AA options or preferably FSR 3.0 support. TAA or whatever you currently use makes everything so blurry. I'm even playing at 1440p and can barely see anything far away. I can't bring myself to play because of the blur

I've downloaded and deleted this game on a number of occasions. It's gotten a lot better, but the AI are still stupid and worse yet, the awful, nonstop unrealistic popcorn sounding gunshots. That's the worst part. It's torture. No battlefield sounds like that. That being said, I want this game to continue to develop and improve and I appreciate the work and love going into this project.
@@Hunter57588 those are useless if the base game lacks everything, you need a foundation to make a moddable game, these poor devs are basically making a game from 0 and wasting who knows how many hours to make a game literally no one's playing
Bluedrake, i have been watching your channel a long time and have enjoyed a great deal of your content, I have wondered what led you to making your game?? Or i guess what i mean to ask is how did you get started doing it?? Did you have experience in coding or anything like that before?? If so howd you learn it?? I have some fantastic ideas but lack the knowledge to put the puzzles together, although i think the dream one would beautiful once id be able to accomplish that, ive done some research and everyone says start small and work up but i still am at a roadblock with, where do i start?? Do i absolutely need to learn coding right now?? What about assets?? What kind of art skills would i need??

@@nobrakez5314 ok interesting. as far as specs, that is very vague. Lots of different hardware configurations under that model name. But If you can run the base game fine it’s weird that the vehicles mod doesn’t run. Actually should run better then basegame because of some stuff Yoshi changed
Hey can you make it so that you can rest your gun on like windows, sandbags, barrels etc.? Like it would make the gun sway les and have less recoil? Also make it so that when you are prone the recoil is lower and sway
Love it or hate it, this is where OHD comes into its own. We will get to a space where the game will have some solid content and it will actually be fun and feature complete. Cant wait!
Do this please with the gun handling feeling like pavlov, uevr is cool but is not the same, if this feels like playing an official vr game im playing this over everthing cause i like vr and multplayer vr
Hey one small request Mr blue drake, can you separate the mouse controls into two? Look sensitivey and aim sensitivey, I look around much quicker than I aim. My aim is usually quite low, but my free look is high. Now with this game, it's just one setting.
The game is quite good and fun even with the difficulties it has. For me, it's gameplay brings a lot of similarities to airsoft which i like ! I really want this game to improve in both Quality and Content. So is there any specific feedback forum/channel where i can give you my thoughts ? BTW Big Congrats and Thanks to all of the the "beasts" who are spending their time Improving the game !
I wonder with community support can we possibly get a port for ps4 and Xbox something like planetside 2 is the only large war experience we have sadly I don’t have the money for a pc to run awsome games
