I thought she was serious at first.. then she said "grab the black paint"... She can't be serious! 😂 "Skin tone gray, you tell me nobody is this colour? Somebody is" you don't need a degree in anything to understand that nobody is any of the two colours 😂
@@DocKrazyumm I’m black and I’m saying that I know that they probably made it to go with a costume but if they made black then why didn’t they make another colors like green or blue or red
Afaik it's just black pigment in a foundation formula, no white, no browns, nothing. It has two uses. Costume / editorial / fantasy makeup or using the tiniest amounts as a mix-in when you need an ashy result (eg contouring in certain styles or shades)
@@baytiedyeexactly!! All they had to do was make a shade that match human skin yet they failed miserably from pure ignorance and lack of research which is crazy to me because that’s their specialty…
i agree but i’m not sure if it was the lighter shade that did this but its a warm toned grey if ykwim? like its probably the lighter shade she added that made it a bit warmer
There is. There's even videos done with people using it. I hope they make a bigger noise before y'all suffocate their voices completely. Woke mob is RIDICULOUS.
@@marlee7389it’s not anybody’s skin because there’s no undertone whatsoever. The literal only pigment in the foundation is black. That’s it. Every single person to ever exist has an undertone to their skin. It’s like how there isn’t any person that’s as white as white paper. They might look similar but it’s not the same and won’t work as a foundation. You might be thinking of another foundation shade they made that was a shade above the darkest one which did work for some people but that’s because it had an undertone.
@@singlecow3895she knows that the shade is basically black face paint but she’s making a joke saying that you have to pair it with the right foundation even tho nobody has a gray skin tone
I’m neurodivergent and tend to not be able to catch peoples tone weither it be through text or talking irl, so no not everyone will get it the first time
I believe that's what they did for marketing, they made the foundation before trying it on people, they saw it was the worst foundation ever and they searched for the very few mega black people with grey undertone
@@ArgoBargo exactly. I'm an artist (traditional paints and all) and i NEVER use black when mixing skin tones. That is not the way to make a darker skin tone. In fact black is a colour I almost never touch when painting in general. Black isnt in our lives as much as people think it is
One’s country/region can influence what is understood to be sarcasm. If someone is not familiar with this tone of sarcasm, it can be easy to mistake it for a serious statement.
Not being able to understand sarcastic tones doesn’t mean you lack common sense, you not being able to realize that is the actual “people these days” moment
The problem isn't that its too "dark" its that its just black, even the darkest skin people still have undertones in there skin its not just black. That stuff would probably work great for clown/mime/jugglo makeup but not as real foundation no matter how dark you are
True! The way you normally make skin tone in paint but also in foundation pigments is by taking yellow and red, then adding blue. The color you get is naturally really dark so you have to add white anyway to get it to match lighter skin tones. That means to formulate a lighter skin tone they’d already be half-way there. If they’d used black pigment to darken it further that’d be one thing but to literally use just black pigment is crazy and extremely lazy
Gorgeous! That lovely shade of intergalactic grey foundation would definitely be appreciated by the friends of the Ancient Aliens crew.👽♥️👽 #AlienSlay🛸
I love you for this ; I love our allies. Unpopular opinion: girls actually stand up for each other regardless of color 💪🏾and before I get attacked I’m Florida born and raised and it’s been like that since I could remember. West Palm Beach at that.
Oh you ate with this!!!! I was concerned that maybe this shade could ACTUALLY be fit for someone but once they confirmed it only had black pigment in it & THEN you showed even mixing it just makes it GREY (where as if it had brown or really any other pigments it may not have turned straight grey) is reallly a problem!!! NO LIES TOLD atp
@biblicalsinner6646 pretty much, I'm in no way a fan of it, don't get me wrong. As stated, for us (the potential buyers) it's a shitty situation. We have to spend more money to receive something we pay for, because they do not offer it in the way we need it. I'm pretty sure they're doing it exactly for that reason unless they actually care about the customers.
Omigod, as a special lil skinwalker, I'm so happy to finally have a foundation that's my color, so now I don't have to steal someone else's skin to wear foundation 🥰
