The director asked the producer after sending him the script if their budget is allowed and the producer probably out of the joke sent back a photo of him with a money rain filter and text "yeah, we can start rolling" and thus the director started filming the movie not realizing it was a joke and a filter.

Yes, though I'm still sad they haven't made a movie for Kathryn Laskey's Wolves of the Beyond. (Same author who made Owls of Gahool.) She's a fantastic writer. The movie butchered the books a bit to make it all fit into one movie sadly but you know the saying, the book is usually better. (If you haven't read any of her series I recommend checking them out. I used to write her a couple fan letters as a kid and she responded and encouraged me to keep working on the stories I was writing.)
