This is one of my favorite love songs of all time, from Richard Poon's "Crooner's Songbook" album. I recorded this one inside my bedroom using my PC and RODE condenser mic.:)
In the early years of Martial Law (1972-74) I joined a group that sang at weddings. This song is one of the favorites, usually sang at the end of the nuptial ceremonies as a send off song for the newlyweds as they begin their journey towards their "happily ever after" castle. Written by Leslie Bricusse who also wrote "What Kind of Fool Am I?" whose Reginized version is on every Pinay "biritera's" singing challege list. Good job, though, Mr. Manuntag(RIP) Your songs live in our Pinoy hearts.
This beautiful song really makes my eyes leaking with tears. It gives me hope during this lockdown period due to a worldwide pandemic. Being away from my spouse is really depressing when I don't even know when can I be reunited again with him...😭 Thank you Arthur for your beautiful rendition of this timeless classic. Your songs will live forever in our hearts 💕
Thanks for singing this great song. It brings me back with my childhood years. We used to sing this particular song in our chapel's mass @ Ateneo. Just sharing.

What a wonderful and heartfelt interpretation of a timeless song that has graced our long and happy married life together. Your beautiful and melodious voice just fits this song to a T. Thank you so much from sunny and now rainy Florida.
This is a favorite song of mine since I first heard Petula Clark sing it -- don't know this singer but it is very nice, though I prefer a slower tempo.
