Great video. Excellent recap as to why the Batman is the greatest superhero. He is not born with powers or obtains it through accidental or experimental means. Rather, it is the result of sheer will and determination as a reaction to tragedy. He fights against stronger foes, never giving up. He fights for justice and never loses sight of helping those in need. He is inspirational to those of us who wish to transcend our limits.
The tragedy would be "through accidental means" so idrk where you think you were going with this one,you don't purposefully lose both your parents to get traumatized and if you did then you wouldn't be traumatized you'd be a sociopath which is entirely different.
@Nami1998 I don't know if on your planet an intense journey of preparation qualifies as "accidental," but on planet Earth, this is the result of an intentional decision-making process that never gives up. Batman didn't choose his tragedies but chose to react in a way that helps others instead of wallowing in his pity. That's a lesson we can all learn from. I'm sorry you missed the point. I'll try drawing it in crayon next time to help you.
@@ItchiestBum it's still a fucking accident that caused it I don't know what's so hard for you people to understand or if you're all just that fucking dense but this is retardation at play, and I'm fucking autistic so that's saying something.
That just woke me up. I am trying to improve my self but I have that issue that things are not getting easier. Every time it’s time to get to studying, starting is as hard as ever, it’s not getting easier. And as a fan of Batman, which is my inspiration, watching your video and especially the Batman’s dilemma part helped me understand: that things in life don’t get easier after doing them for many times (I mean not skills, but more dedication and discipline), and the struggles never disappear. You have to fight them over and over and the only thing that’ll make these challenges easier (manageable) for you is viewing your life as constant battle, without hoping for rest tomorrow. It’s important to understand that to achieve what you want to achieve you have to fight now, fight tomorrow and fight forever. The understanding that the struggles are there every second and that only beating them and bringing to Arkham for sometime will make you feel at peace and satisfied with your life. It’s like every moment that Batman isn’t fighting his villains, people die. And we as those who want to become better feel same shame and guilt for not doing what you can for others and for your future self.
"The people you help and build up, will eventually be there to help you carry this burden." That statement reminds me of one of ky favorite storytelling tropes: when the people that the hero has helped through theor journey show up at yhe climax/the hero's darkest hour to help THEM achieve victory.
There's one element that people often miss about Batman, and about men in general. There's an episode of Justice League that takes place in the Batman Beyond period. Amanda Waller is explaining to Terry (the Batman of that period) who Bruce is. She tells him a story about when Ace from the Royal Flush gang took over Gotham. She sent Batman in with a weapon that would kill Ace. But he didn't use it. He recognized that what Ace needed in that moment was comfort, compassion. And so he just sits with her as she dies. Batman is strong, smart, physically adept, skilled in many different areas. But he is also kind, compassionate, empathetic. Without that, it's far too easy to become the toxic version of masculinity that is far too prevalent in society.
Just like Bruce said, Batman should be considered a symbol. So that people like me and you can look up to him and say "It's not impossible to do it". Whoever carries that symbol of justice, the symbol of hope in the face of tragedy, the symbol of Bat forward in their daily life with sheer will is Batman. You are Batman. Become someone whom people want to thank and become a man who replies "and you don't have to".
Spetacular Video, the way you related the villains as our problems, bad moments in everyday life, Gotham as the people and things we want to protect and take care of was very good and useful. 🦇
Hot damn that was a great analysis. So many of these videos are cheesy or have a very surface message, but this look into his rogue's gallery was a great way to personify everyday problems and internal demons. Bravo. And you reminded me to get back to writing my book.... kinda forgot about that.
SPECTACULAR video‼️💢 I love these videos using BATMAN as a primary focal point on how to IMPROVE one’s self. Yours by far is my FAVORITE. Hmm 🤔 consider creating a video using Catwoman as an example for females… just a thought… Anyway, keep up the GREAT work …
Beautifully written. So let's be the heroes that the world deserves, not the the ones that it needs, because we are silent guardians, watchful protectors, the Dark Knights......
Men need a lot of things to grow up correctly and be better a lot of things that we usually don't learn until late because the current system of raising children is trash
Great job, the perspective that the stories and mythos is somewhat allegorical to a person making life decisions and understanding the ramifications is interesting.
3:40 Or it is like when I was only twelve years old, and I was at a summer camp, and another child tried to drown me because the other child was emotionally disturbed. And I tell you, I tried to report it to those in charge of the camp, but no one had seen that happen, so they did not believe me. Or it is like when my father, a psychotherapist, became very depressed and emotionally unstable -- then suddenly he could not find work, nor could he keep it when he had it, because he was so unhappy he began to argue with his employers. However, when my father had been a young man, his father had conditioned him to believe that if he had no employment, he was absolutely worthless. So my father took his own life.
Hello there, what you talk about in this video it's feeling a lot like something I already knew but didn't know how to put it into words, and it's also the first video I'm watching from you thx to the algorithm, beware, without knowing, your videos may be forging soldiers with these videos. Btw, did you use Adobe Premiere Pro?
Bruce Wayne was born with unlimited wealth and resources so IMO to say he's completely powerless and self made isn't exactly true but I think the metaphorical analogies to our lives as men are pretty spot on.
That's the whole point. A kid born with a silver spoon in his mouth knows nothing about the harsh reality of the world. He never knew about sadness, he felt only happiness. always got love and support from his mom and dad. One night at the age of 8 the world opened its monstrous mouth in front of him. nobody's there to support him, Mom and Dad are gone. first time in his life he was alone in that alley, and he felt helplessness, sadness, loneliness, and death. It's almost a Buddha origin story. he abandoned his wealth and life and deep diving into the real world. remember batman begins he's throwing away his credit cards. and running to the darkness. to the real world. when he traveled around the world to learn skills and knowledge he didn't use any of his wealth, he did ordinary jobs. some times he had to steal food from his own company's truck. After 15-plus years of training and experience, he came back to Gotham as Batman/Buddha (an enlightened man). we can definitely call him self-made.
Look at it this way: Lex Luther was also born with all of that. He's arguably as smart or smarter than Bruce. But due to lex's weakness of character and lust for power, he turned out extremely different. The wealth helps, but even without it, he's still Batman.
If someone continually complains about their difficult life, remind them to consider the hardships faced by people like the Palestinian refugees, Chechen homosexuals in death camps, the Rohingya, the Darfuris, North Koreans, and foreign slave laborers abandoned in the United Arab Emirates without a single scrap of food. It's thought-provoking that even Bruce Wayne, despite his fictional challenges, would be the first to acknowledge these situations as more difficult than his own. In some narratives, Wayne even entered North Korea -- without permission -- to study with obscure martial arts experts there.
I’ve always had the goal of becoming like Batman in the ideal sense, and for me it doesn’t matter if I can or can’t become Batman, only that I believe I can, and I do
Love it, I resonate with everything that you mention… service to others in a higher purpose, … try ARHATIC YOGA - Mind blowing , best I have found in area of self development and spirituality , while being in the world not of the world …
First of all great video ! But I would like to shar my personnal perspective on lust . First nofap shouldn't be a priority! Most men lack the sexual opportunity to get sex with women. Too much of anything is bad But too little or absence of physical need is dangerous. We know that most single men under 30 years old are either virgins or sexless. I would like that we teach young men how to get women first (the discipline required such as working on yourself to become attractive is part of the journey). We have the illusion that most men are having alot of sex but it's not true. Infact girls are aving wat more sex than girls .that's my thoughts No fap . 11:00 I would say that lust creates Simps mostly ,It doesn't manke men treat women poorly "for the most part "! Men have a biological instinct to protect women. It is an instinct for men to give their lives away for the women (titanic). Simps will betray their friends for women or do anything a woman asks. It is so easy for men to give undeserving women the best treatment. For me that's the most powerful and common effect of Lust. In fact men without an abondance midset or sexually deprived are the most dangerous ! A virgin with no sex will more than likely try to shoot innocent people. Lust doesn't necessarily make men treat women just like a piece of 🥩 meat .
