You are incredible. I specifically told him to shit or get of the pot. We been together for quite some time. He does have children and a demanding career but I didn’t ask for more time. I wanted better treatment. I put up boundaries at the beginning of this year. We have had conversations but he has been unable to express emotions. He’s never told me how he feels. He would talk about everything but his feelings. I told him he needed to work on his trauma, his ego, the fact that he self- sabotages when things get good and he is never going to have a successful relationship if he doesn’t get unstuck. I am so glad I watched this video today. It is exactly the situation I am in right now, feeling confused. We met 35 years ago but just reconnected two weeks ago. The first week texts were so sweet and loving, we met up on July 12th, I felt like it went well. We were talking about each taking a day off from work to spend together. I spoke with him on 14th about which day he could take off and he said he would call me. No contact since then, the past week he ghosted me. I feel very confused, only thing I can think about is he did mentioned that he was hurt by his last relationship, so maybe he is afraid to take a chance. Well after reading the comments I guess you have a good idea of what's meant by "shit or get off the pot" it's what my mom said when she wanted something done immediately. Back in the day before indoor plumbing there were out houses and inside some homes there was a pot, so you didn't have to go outside at night. One pot per house on average.

I'm really struggling emotionally right now emotionally, but I'm getting through it. Full moons tend to affect me. My partner has a white USV (We call them utes in Australia). I hoppe he isn't moving away from me in 'secret'. On the 8th I had major throat surgery. A three in one. I had cancer and lare nodules removed and a hpothyroidectomy so I've been resting at home for a week. His 2 family female members want me gone so they get all he has.
