The girls really went wild for The Rolling Stones even if they were doing only cover songs in their amazing beginnings. They would never had made it without Brian and Charlie. RIP. ❤💔❤️💔

Given that Arthur Alexander was a relatively unknown artist, it's pretty remarkable that two of the biggest bands of the 1960s recorded his songs (of course talking about the Beatles' cover of Anna). Great work as always Tiger :)

How about that 'two of the greatest' from the sixties? I'm a huge Kinks fan; my favorite group. And I love The Who. That being said, and with all due respect, the Stones and Beatles are not only by far the biggest bands of the sixties... they are the biggest bands of the entire R&R era...!!!

Thank you!! I use special Spectral Editing software that can separate all the elements of a song. To get a really good conversion, many hours of tedious manual work needs to be done.

Aah, the great Arthur Alexander. Also the composer of "Anna (Go to Him)," "Soldier of Love," and "A Shot of Rhythm and Blues." Didn't know the Stones were into him. John Lennon loved him.

@@12dougreed Brian famously took a larger share of the money from the early gigs as he was the leader. When the band found out, of course it caused some dissention.

I have a request, if I can abuse of your generosity. Can you please convert to stereo this masterpiece: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-nL7bVfp2hjU.html ("Nobody Knows You when You're Down and Out") This a 16 year old Steve Winwood with the Spencer Davis Group and I believe it deserves the conversion. If you like Winwood, he also recorded a fantastic version of "Georgia on my Mind" while with Spencer. Also worthy of your ears. Thank You in advance.
